What I really wanna get is one of those zippo-sized replacement inserts that take butane instead of petrol, so I could just carry around two "zippos" all the time, one petrol and one butane and be completly prepared. =D

The Swan lighters are better quality but nothing beats the poker in the Clipper.

As long as we're all posting pisctures of our lighters, let me share this beauty. =D

Brushed brass just looks so sexy. I bought some flints today, and it turns out the problem WAS with the flints... they'd gotten too gunked up from sitting around unused for so long. =O

And in case you're curious about the background: http://warriorinstruments.com ... beautiful handmade electric guitars, second to none. They're more art than instrument.

Niiice Boner, We're looking to get us one o' those collections starting in 56 days 10 hours and 56 minutes, or so... Normally the gf and I use TOKAI disposeable lighters, very good for toasting baccy and sparking a bowl...

Gotta be Zippo's for me, I always end up losing other lighters, but as Zippo's cost like 10 times more I've managed to hang on to mine for over 2 years which is a record for me! Used to be a clipper fan, but I tap my joints down rather than poking them now, cos' poking them down always seems to leave a really compressed bit at the start the doesn't burn too well.

I voted petrol 'cos im a zippo man at heart...unfortunately Im always running out of fluid and these damn new fangled gas ones seem to last for ages so i always end up with one of those as well.

Zippos are great in concept and function, but the fact that they rely on evaporated lighter fluid to light is a shame, as the gas will just keep evaporating so you have to contrantly refill wether you use it or not. ='(

Exactly!! Since I quit the soap bar a gas lighter will last fookin ages where as my trusty zippo still runs out just as fast.
