A friend of mine stays there, its fine. Right in the thick of it and a short walk if you are taking the train.

looks like they have a no drug (weed) policy , they do have some smoking rooms but they state tobacco only

I looked to stop once so emailed them regarding smoking weed in the courtyard thats attached to one of the rooms and was told that theres plenty of coffeeshops in town to smoke weed in.

isn't that annoying? I mean I would imagine 50% or so of Amsterdam's tourism is solely based on Cannabis. Why hotels are so against it is beyond me.

I think you're way off the mark, I'd guess maybe 5% tops go for weed tourism.

Must just be my weird perception heh I only thought that because most people around here associate it as a party city.
