Want to try my hand at making some hash, going down the sieve route, or I would be if I could find anything to sieve with - I know it needs to be between 120-230 lines per inch but I'm not having any look finding anything that'll work. If anyone knows anywhere can you let me know

Yeah we were wondering where to get something similar ! my mate went to lots of art shops looking for the screen for silk screen printing , with no luck
Maybe an internet search for ssp ? USBL ?

@ Modesta Don't really want to mess around with ice and water and buckets if I can help it, but thanks for the link
@ Cisco I tried a few art shops as well with no luck, I've done a bit of a search online but the only stuff I can find is only 50-90 lines per inch which I guess won't work too well.

Look for some place that does silk screen on tshirts, hats and such.
They will probably have a scrap piece you can get for little or nothing.
Here is my take on the process.

you still gotta do a lot of messin around when you use the bubble filters or screens
still need pails with ice and blenders n shit ,, so dunno what ya mean by not wanting to mess around ,, gumby`s method looks easy enough .. whatever,, should try makin some oil if you want to make something easy ... I like oil better myself..

k sorry wasnt really paying attention ,, you just going to screen your shake and get all the trichomes and compress them together ,, you must have a lot of good shake .. If I were you I would make some nice honey oil .. will last longer than the hash and not be nearly as harsh and easier to smoke too ... way better than hash IMHO...

one thing they do use for sure is a lot of buds .. they are small spindly fkers but loaded with resin// trichs ... I dont know anyone that would smash the hell out of their buds to get some hash .. looks like some kind of cloth that they can stretch though.. those dudes get some serious amounts of hash ,, it is all they do ffs.. imagine thrashing buds for ten hours a day ... some of them just rub the buds back and forth in their hands until they figure all of the trichs from them are stuck to their hands and after so many buds they gather it up off their hands ...

Thanks for all yr answers, eventually found some mesh from here
http://www.art2screenprint.com/mesh
but now I'm thinking maybe the water n ice method might be better, so I might just buy one of those bucket kits, don't know, and I'd like to go for oil but don't fancy blowing my self up

which I can see happening

Agree

.....One screen to filter out all the trichromes, that's all you really need....and
LOTS of ICE.
