Hey mates just got back from A'dam yesterday so I'm writing a little trip report

First day

First thought of the day "Why is this fucking clock ringing at 3AM ?" followed by "Oh yeah that's right today I'm going to Amster fucking Dam !"
I wake up my gf, we have a quick shower and breakfast and then my friend Ben is here (with his gf). His parents lend us their Evasion (6 seats) because we are six of us for this trip. We seat in the car, pick up our last friend Jérome with his gf and we're on the road at 4AM.

We arrive at Zeeburg at about 10AM, it's too early to get the keys for our cabins so we just park the car, buy GVB tickets and run to the tram station, seat in the tram and here we go to the dam square !

We go out of the tram, and I'm almost running to our first stop, Dampkring 2 on Harleemstraat.

I ask the budtender what sativa he would advice me, and he tells me "Neville's Haze mate, pretty good at the moment", he shows me the tub, wow, a fucking good smell ! One gram of it please !


Neville's Haze, 1 gram, 12€

My mates took (if I remember well) Laughing Buddha, SSH and Jungle Haze. I won't do a smoke report for my mates, because I don't clearly remember what they all bought, but if you have questions I'd be happy to answer

So let's get back to this Neville's Haze. I order a couple of toastie, a coffee and I sit my ass upstairs and begin to roll the Neville's Haze.

First impressions, the smell is fantastic, even if my gram is made of small nugs.
Lighting up the spliff, the weed has a really sweet hazey taste, with a hint of spice and sugar. The high is really good for a first smoke, mental, awakening and really relaxing. I wasn't disappointed by the BT's advice, this Neville's Haze was clearly an excellent sativa.

We finish our joints and then move to the Hill Street Blues on Warmoestraat.
As "one of my mate" is currently growing cheese, and never tried it before, i ask to see the Cheese. Good smell so I buy one gram.


Cheese, 1g, 12€

A really good smell, a good looking 1g bud. Deep taste, earthy, but fruit on the exhale. My gf loved the taste. The high was good, warming the brain. A perfect daytime smoke, I hope "my friend's" Cheese will play in the same league.
I think my friends bought Cheese too, and Top Nepal.

After one or two joints, we crossed the road to the Hunter's. Unfortunately, the Spanish "I bang the tubs and I throw the baggies at customers' head" Budtender was working. Like everyone said before me, he was very rude, slamming the tubs in my face, ... I have been a great defender of Hunter's on this forum, and I'll still go there because I love their products, but I must say this guy is a fucking dickhead, and he'd better be careful, one day he could fall on another dickhead who'll beat the shit out of him for his attitude.

Anyway, I was here to buy cannabis, not to discuss people way of life.
So I bought some Kushadelic and Sahara



Kushadelic, 1 gram, 12€

A really good taste, really sweet, but it lacked of a real punch.


Sahara, 1 gram, 11,50€

A sweet taste of flower with a great head buzz. Perfect polm for me.

Then we went to Burger King for a meal, then back to the camping for the keys of the cabins. Put our bags in the cabins, smoked a few joints with a beer, then back to Amsterdam.

We went to Prix d'Ami, but I didn't buy anything from here, they were out of S5 Haze.
Smoked a few joints, then walked to McDonald's for a meal and to Basjoe. Bought a gram of Royal Hash.



Royal Hash, 1 gram, 12€

A really soft black hash, with an excellent taste of caramel and a great buzz.
My friends bought Heaven Haze and Amnesia Haze from here.

Got a seat then passed the evening here, smoking joints. We were all fucking tired (woke up at 3AM) so we went back to Zeeburg about 11PM and all went to sleep at the second we arrived.

First one. Cool Panog! I like to hear that people stays in Zeeburg.Good choice on herbs too

Good report panog and a pretty accurate description of said Budtender, he tends to be on the early shift if you want to avoid the idiot, but I agree Hunters is a good CS and not worth missing because of 1 dickhead budtender just go in the afternoon, the rest of the budtenders are great though.

A Burger King and then a McDonalds??? in the same day? lol

Yeah the budtender was a fucking dick, I would'nt say like others on the forum that he ruined my day, but I would have prefered a classic budtender.

For the BK and McDo, we went to BK for noon and at McDo for the dinner

I'll write the next days this evening or tommorow, saturday was a trip to De Pijp and Sunday to the Jordaan

Day Two

We wake up at 9AM, quick shower, quick breakfast at Zeeburg (a bit pricey but really good) and we're on the tram to Amsterdam !
As we plan to go to De Pijp Area today, we get out of the tram at Muntplein station, and we go straight to the Rokerij to have a joint before walking the market.

This Rokerik is really unbelievable ! Painted in the style of an old roman church, with monks and saints on the wall, and massive iron furnitures (candles, ...) We realized later that the guys on the wall were all painted with stoned eyes.
We had to go downstairs to see the menu and buy some weed/hash. Took 1,2g of Rokerij Sour Diesel for 11,10€


Rokerij Sour Diesel, 1 gram, 9€

This Sour Diesel was really good for a sativa at 9e a gram. A really good Sour D taste (as good as the one from Dampkring I had last summer) and a good high, not a heavy hitter, but not weak. Really relaxing.

My friends bought some Super Afghan and Big Budda Cheese from here.

After a few joints we moved our asses to the Albert Cuyp market. Walk through the whole market, and then we hit Ocean coffeeshop. It was my first time here, but I heard a lot of good reviews about it. A nice place, with nice cheap weeds. I bought some So Gouda Haze.


So Gouda Haze, 1 gram, 10€

I must admit I don't remember a lot about this weed, I just remember a pretty special taste that I liked (my gf said it has a taste of goat cheese and stables O_o) and a really good high. I also remember thinking "in the centrum, this weed would be 13/14e a gram, what a deal at 10e !"

We then went back to the other side of the market, with a stop at Katsu.


Red Libanon, 1 gram, 10 euros

I really liked this hash. Flower taste, really active high, falling into powder when crumbling it. A really good buy for 10e.
My mate bought some Flower Power hash here.

After Katsu, and a meal at McDo near de Graal, we walked to Ocean because I really wanted to try the S5 Haze, and the day before Prix d'Ami was out of this. So we went to Ocean to get told by the dealer that he was out of S5 Haze too ! Maybe it comes from the same grower ? My friend bought some Ocean Mix and we went back to have a seat at de Graal.

First surprise at De Graal : everyone working here is speaking french. An old guy seems to be dutch (but speaks excellent french) but a girl and the budtender were fucking french ! For me it was pretty incredible to buy weed from a shop in my own language ^^ With the recommendations of the budtender, I bought some Manala Cream.


Manala Cream, 0,90 gram, 10 euros.

Fuck this hash was good ! A really mental high, taking your brain and all of a sudden, you can no more think or speak ! Great taste of incense, smelled like India should smell ^^

We smoked joints for a few hours in de graal, then took a tram to centraal station, and headed to the greenhouse on harleemstraat to finish the evening.

Here I bought one gram of Hawaian Snow, and one gram of AK47


Hawaian Snow, 1 gram, 11 euros

When I saw this bud, I wanted it immediatly. After I realized it wasn't really a good idea. Rolled the whole gram in a blunt, smoked it, and had no fucking effects. I must admit that the taste was pretty good, but I wasted 11e for buying this stuff.


AK47, 1 gram, 9,50€

Bought this after smoking the Hawaian Snow, telling myself "well it's not really expensive, let's give it a try" It was more powerful than the Hawaian Snow, but here again the high wasn't that great. The taste was really good, but if I wanna smoke something just for the taste I'd smoke hookah. Worth the 9,50e for the place and the taste, but not a great buy.

Even if their weeds wasn't really good, we had a really good times here, from 7PM to about 11PM. We ate delicious burger, ... and it wasn't really expensive (maybe 10e for a meal and a drink)

Then we went back to Zeeburg, and smoked a few joint with some beers and playing cards, and went to bed at about 2AM.

Great report, making me wish that time would hurry up so i can be there too. Im thinking about taking a trip to Hunters just to see this budtender, been getting a lot of bad rep here. think ill need to go in and decide for myself
