cheapest beer in the dam

how much is it for JD and beer in amsterdam and where is the cheapest place to go with happy hours and stuff ?
what is the prices like in nes ?
thanks folks sorry about all the Qs but im only there for 2days so i want to waste no time in lookin lol

Last time I was in Centrum (Which was July 2009) a 500ml beer cost €6...then they ask for another €uro if you want to smoke...rip-off, if you want to get pissed get some in Albert Heijn afore ye go

cant help you with prices in NES
when last in in may DC kept getting our glasses refilled
top bloke and a gr8 host
and the match will prob be on too, if not just ask for it
ill be in about 10pm on 28th

Heni 500ML .83¢ euro
Amstel 500Ml . 65¢ euro
AH Piss 500ML .50¢ euro
i dont drink But When in town at that price (back home for a 500Ml its like 5-6$) so i get DRUNK each day and fuck the bars...find a park banch (hope no police show up) or a Park (vondel good one Bos even better) and GET DRUNK!!
Then Riding back Drunk is so f..ing fun (hehe) (hope you dont get stop for drinking and driving by the police) fuck it so fun being in AMSTERDAM and weird at same time!!!

Ricks bar I think still does happy hours. Was €2.50 per pint in november 08. Doubt you will get anyere central for regular cheap prices. Best bet is happy hours.
Though am interested in this thread myself as a m8 is going over next month.

leffe @nes is 2.90, not sure how much u get but definatly more than those little 'flute' things, im still to find a cheaper bar in the centrum, no idea about their spirit prices but beer is cheap, also try the gulpener
&unless your really good at pool, stay away from the 50c pool table

thanks for all the info adamster that sounds like a plan vondel park my pal cant go a bike so im thinkin about gettin a tandem two man bike
a few beers in the park would be the adventure im looking for
AH piss 50c euro bet its better than most of the beer in glasgow we have shit beer here

thanks pauli il be sure to vist nes as i have read nothing but gd things about the place and D C my hotel isnt that far from it il prob be in there at nite
anyone know much about bourbon street bar ? can you smoke init ? is it no bad price wise? seen a few youtube videos and it looks great

Albert Heijn Pilsener is the Perfect beer cant go wrong! i always have a few in my hotel room for after hours
aint paying 2-3euro a can from a tourist shop/711 type store

yeah im worry about missin the game as it is Champions League nite so there will be so many games on, so i need to find a pub with many tv screens, rangers vs Bursaspor a turk team are there alot of turkey people livein over there and do you think il need to watch where i go ? il prob leave my gers top behind
