i remember before the ceasefires started, being searched like this going into shops, everyone had to go through security gates in town and everyone and all bags were searched, and no cars in city centre unless the driver was carrying a security pass, and yeah cops would pull you over and search you with no reason given
RIP Lee Rigby

i was home on leave once and took my ma in there, when i went in i raised my arms but had my yellow card in my hand for the guard to let him know i was carrying. the eejit didnt see it but when he felt it he let out a yell and threw himself across the floor
everyone in the shop just stared at me and started ducking behind the shelves

I was in A'dam in 06 riding through through Zeedijk street the one with the Chinese temple near the RLD. I noticed ahead of me loads of Police strewn across the road, stopping everyone and searching them. I thought as I was on a bike they would let me through but I had to be patted down as well. Even old grannies were searched and not one person got through without being put through this invasive ordeal. The police simply blocked off the entire street and everyone within got searched. I had over 5g of weed on me, however they had zero interest in this and were only looking for metal weapons, etc.
I was given this leaflet when they found nothing on me....

To be honest the police had no interest in anything on me apart from solid objects in my pockets they demanded to see when patting me down. The big bags of weed on me was fine. It was all futile stuff as they didn't check the bike where anything could have been stashed. I usually carry a utility 4" Swiss Army knife and would have been pissed off if they confiscated it but luckily I didn't have it on me that afternoon and avoided any complications, etc.
