Post by Conkers »

First time i ever tried this the budtender at barneys recommended it and told me it was really good at the moment, I haven't been out for about a year now and was wondering if anybody has seen this strain about and if so for a cheaper price than barneys, think it cost me almost 14E for a gram!?

Most places stocked it in early 2009 under the name quaze or similar.

well i did buy it when i was there about a year ago, can't believe its gone up again! it was probably my best smoke of my 2009 trip, a little on the trippy side and a little harsh on the throat but as soon as you get past that its just one massive grin

Thats how it's supposed to look.

There's already quite a few threads on this strain:

Looks in this case are VERY decieving.
This is a weed that you actually smoke the stems  , as the entire thing is stems.
Ive been reading about some guys in California who are starting to get some rediculous results crossing Grinspoon with things like Kush, Headband and Trainwreck.
I really hope to see some of that, really has crazy potential to be the next evolution in weed ( Grinspoon in "the wild" can grow to be 16 feet tall ).

I was thinking about trying to cross Grinspoon with an early flowering sativa to bring down the flower time and increase yield while retaining the sativa high. I think Durban Poison would be a good match because of it's shorter stature and short flowering time. The highs are both known for being energetic as well so I think they might compliment each other. Dr. Poison would be a fitting name for the cross.

Theres a guy who sells seeds under the moniker Dr Poison.

I reckon C99 would be a good strain to cross Dr Grinspoon to.

I got it in April and said never again. It was good, but not for 17 euro a gram. Looked at it again at Barney's several days ago but didn't buy any. Amnesia Haze is just as good if not better and cheaper at Kabouter than anywhere else. Only 8.50 a gram; Katsu has it also @20 euro for 2.20 grams - both well worth it, enjoy your trip.

I really enjoyed this and the quaze from Bluebird about a year ago. Really strong head-high, had me flying. If you like being high instead of stoned, this is the bud for you. I felt no body effects, it's all in the head.
