This thread has made me quite depressed

well hopefully they get a grip and realise there is nothing to deal with in regards to coffee shops and just back of and leave them alone. I just booked my wedding anniversary out there for next year and im worried that things will change before then. Fingers crossed they dont.

Let's hope so. I've already booked a few trips also. I love the place for other reasons too, but I just don't think it would be the same if these proposed changes are implemented

reading this reminds me of the run up to the mushroom ban. and they did that. looks like depressing stuff. glad iv got a trip planned soon.

Ive spoke with dutch people on this very issue before & i am sure they/us will fight this,Nothing is set in stone so far but they are making noises again! it reminds me of an article way back in like 2005 that spooked tons of people then as well,I mean if we were to ban say welsh people from using bars here in edinburgh you would hear about it allright! & all this canter that its not covered by discrimination laws is a lot of tosh,For example you could be giving things away & if you show bias against one person & favouritism towards another thats "DISCRIMINATION" simple,No where else in life would they dare try this! whats next no muslims on trams & irish people to the back of the bus? sorry those days are over .

the wire is candyland...most of the city is like that now..a warzone...i was hopin they would all kill each other by now,but in 45 years it hasnt happened..so ya keep yer head down and pray none of the bullets have my name on it..ive only been shot once in the arm,wrong place wrong time, , but that seems to happen to alot of people lately...the cops dont go into the crazy hoods anymore so its outa control..otherwise the is a nice harbor to visit but dont wander 10 blocks in any direction,its just not safe...so in conclusion,stay inside,the bullets have a harder time getting to you

thats really annoying. im planning a trip to the netherlands next summer. what do you think should i go for a trip and book or better not? could the plans become true till then? i know nothing is sure, but what are your feelings?

I would say go ahead and book it, surely the govt need to deal with more pressing issues first, like the economy to name one

Turns out hes due in court on monday in amsterdam to answer race hate charges! man & hes the leader of a coalition? lol,Hes full of s**t & just attacking everything by the looks of it! & if people wana compaire the UK i would say look at thatcher when she tried to force a bridge to far kinda thing! he own party go rid of her & i cant see this wilders lasting very long either,People shouldnt confuse dutch tollorance to not giving a f**k .

from what i have read about wilders he seems like a complete joke, i dont understand how a man/party like this could even get to the postion they have got to, and i agree with previous poster that he wont last long and i dont think this new coalition will last the full term either, apparently this is the first fully right wing government since ww2, there must be a reason for this?????

Ive watched some tv interviews of him lately & he does present his arguments well! but on the other hand he also trips himself up now & then ,He seems to court controversy if you ask me! ban burkahs/harder on cannabis + tough on immigration,Man talk about a safe bet if your an MP ,Trouble is if you go bashing everyone you just show yourself up for who you really are,Ie a guy with a grudge! & you end up pleasing no one,Who should listen to a guy who wasnt elected outright & is an accused RACIST anyways? & he has the cheek to go around like the cat that got the cream! just like our cameron,With any luck he will get jailed,Only 1 3rd wanted him but yet he ends up in the top job? these coalition agreements are not worth there light & you guys shouldnt put your voting cards away just yet .

i dont think being tough on immigration is a bad thing ? And no im not a racist bt i think alot of countries need to be tougher on immigration due to economics etc and especially illegal immigration

IMO immigration is all about cheap labour, and while ever
politics is merely the shadow cast over society by big
business interests, it will remain so.
