Theres a stupid idiot on our street who owns a Hummer. Yes, a Hummer in Amsterdam!! Its not like he's just visiting, he actually lives here on a permanent basis and drives that ridiculous thing around. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to drive down these narrow streets without clipping walls, poles, parked cars etc. And of course everyone else has to get on the footpath to let him through.
It just shows the extreme lengths people will go, in order to maintain their ego.
