going to Amsterdam Nov 23. And I am wondering about a few things.

I have almost 10 days there? I was thinking about jumping on a train Sunday night after the Cup and going to Prague.

And another thought...

Are any of you guys going out to clubs at night during your stay for the cup.
I have been doing some research online and finding a lot dance music and trance stuff. Sound fun if you add a few disco biscuits..lol

I am 29 and I want to have a blast.... What else to do besides the cup? during the month of November. And how cold is it going to be?

I'll let better qualified people than me go into the club scene. I am more a history, smoke and drink person. Some top bars - de Zotte, Arendsnest amongst them.

I am usually in town in late November. It can get very very wet and damp plus the wind chill off the North Sea*. If you are lucky it will be dry and frosty. Check out the long range weather on AniWeather, I have found them usually accurate

* more reason to spend time in a CS

The City Night Line train ride to Prague is 14:30 going and 16 coming back. The seats are usually cheap, about 60E RT. You can find more info at http://www.bahn.de

I try to go out every night unless I decide to hold up in the coffeeshops until closing. http://www.amsterdamhotspots.nl/club.html This site might be a little out of date but I think all of the places are still open.
