I don't mean it in a credibility way I jus mean that people often have different expectations , and different views on what's acceptable levels of cleanliness ! It is after all a budget hotel is it not ? I have stayed in a couple of shit holes but they were acceptable for what I was after that trip (total bake session with my cuz and a couple o mates) so we just needed a crash pad

Holy fuck, the more i hear about this place the more i like it 8)

A bit of dust, shit stains on the sheets, it sounds like the "Quentin" where i usually stay and its 15E cheaper a night....... yaaa hooo.

I am going to feel right a home

I dont think that i would ever take the wife to a budget hotel, they are BUDGET hotels and as with most things in life "you get what you pay for.

Thanx for the review man and in their deffence shit stains are a bastard to get rid of, am sure after a few more washes they will be gone.

That pic looks very good level of comfort for the price. Would still like to see the pic simon took all the same if he can upload it somewhere. Then again dont this site have the ability to host pics. So he could just add it right to this site from his pc via add attachement at the bottom of a post txt box. Just click "browse" next to the "filename" below.

The pic Murphyscafe has put up is the standard of Bathrooms and toilets all through the hotel, my room was up 75 steps in typical Amsterdam style on the top floor. I had a single room with shared facilitys, the room had been freshly painted (Just white but still done) and it had a complete new window aswell. No breakfast which TBH means fuck all when you are so close to plenty of eating joints. No TV in the room, like i gave a fuck as i was there to smoke not watch TV in my room  .
I also cannot beleive you did not complain at all, and i am %100 sure they would have sorted any problem you had out. But instead ran off into the night, thats pretty rude IMO and i thought i was rude.

Now the good bit, i too have stayed at the tourist in and the Breakfast turns you on then man you are sad, it sucked ass that bad i only tried it once and the Bathrooms are no where near the quality of the Brand spanking new ones fitted in Voyagers.

Ashame you had a bad time but TBH its great news for people like me who want to stay there but its always fully booked, as its one less in the competition.

Wow Murphys, was not expecting that when it came to the bathrooms. I know they said they were newly remodeled, but that was not what I was thinking. Looks good to me! It is sounding as though Simon just caught them at a bad time. Sorry for your luck guy. Hope you had a great time anyway.

maybe it was an oversiglht they forgot to clean before you checked in ? you didnt go down and say anything so i will reserve judgement on this hotel till i stay there for myself i feel bad for ya but man you didnt have to avoid bringing it to their attention without being "harsh" as you say ,

you catch more flies with honey , if u went down to the front desk and said "listen my rooms not been cleaned if i go out for an hour will u ring me when its done so i can check in properly " , simple as any respectable hotel would apologise and offer you something complimentry for the oversight
