I reckon your bang on here HickeyD, Simon should have made the staff aware of the problems and given them a chance to rectify.

Unfortunately for me I might have to cancel my booking at Voyagers, DAMMIT!!!! Fingers still crossed though.

No, no, nothing to do with Simon's review,..... We going as a 4some and the others have seen an apartment for near enough the same price & I have now been outvoted. I'll definitely be popping in for a smoke though.

Stayed here over the weekend, Friday to Monday. Had one of the single rooms on the top floor. Room clean & today but very basic. Just a bed, table & chair in the room. Suited me fine tho. Could have done with a tv for the late night smoking sessions but thankfully took my portable DVD player with me. Nice coffeeshop downstairs with a top menu. Good place to sit & watch the world go by.

I stayed at Voyagers for 3 nights last week.

I had a double room with own batroom - was on the first floor. It is the room that someone posted the bathroom pic for.

Firstly, the staff are great to deal with and very friendly. The weed at the coffeeshop is good as too!

The room I had was a good size with 2 massive windows which was nice. The rooms are quite basic, but that is totally fine. The bathrooms (which have been refit already) are really top notch - if the rest of the refit is to that standard the whole place will be great.

The only problem with the room was a mice problem. And unfortunately I am not meaning "oh look at the little mouse over there' but 'jesus there are a whole tribe of mice living under the bed''. I didnt see any the first night, saw a couple the second, and by the third night they must have been used to me because the little bastards were running everywhere! was not ideal.

In saying that though, I would still stay again after the refit (which I think they are hoping to have done in a month or two) as it is a cool coffeeshop with cool staff, and in a great location. Post refit I expect the place to be immaculate.

Prehaps they should get themselfs a couple of resident cats. Always a good pest control for the older places.

A big smoke out with them leaving very quickly, probably by jumping out the window

Ive spent quite a few nights listening to the little fukcers running about, they add a bit of character to the establishment :) if you dont take food into your room you see a lot less of them, its the rats that scare me there fucking masive, they will just knock on the door and ask for the leftovers
