Running a full virus scan now as I type, don't know what else to do...

If you machine is really infected, one option is to back up your data and that reformat the drive and do a clean install of your operating system and all software you use.

Do NOT attempt to do this by yourself, only as a last resort if that is what your IT dept chooses to do.
