Boner wrote:Free anti-virus softwares are a waste of time, for what it costs I'd pay for a decent one like Kaspersky.
Yea true boner! sometimes free things arnt what there cracked up to be,But on the other hand "legit" copies are like 40/50 notes each & the updates will only last for 1 year

,The old norton i had was like the 2003 edition but i just kept updating it untill only a couple of years ago! ok it took an odd restart here & there to get all of your updates but it was free at the end of the day! now they want you to pay each & every year

,I know you get what you pay for in life but the odd cracked/free copy is good like! as long as your running other spyware/malware programs at the same time you should & will get away with it

,Ps rufus this hard drive may be good for you! its not to big & the price is ok

or if you have a little bit extra i would buy this!

In fact i did back in march! it was like 120 back then

I've used free ones, I had Mcafee with my last pc and all have been totally rubbish compared to Kaspersky, I download probably close to 50 gigs worth of stuff a week and since using Kaspersky I haven't had a single problem, I honestly cant say the same about the free ones or Mcafee, I did find
http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/ about the best of all the free ones I've used but I honestly dont believe any of the free ones can touch a paid for one, just my humble opinion.

I had a couple of mates who had mcafee & 1 thought it was good while the other thought it was c**p,Never had it myself thou! & yea if you pay for say "kaspersky" for example you do get tons of updates/online scans & 24/7 customer support

,Ive got comodo for my anti virus,Malwarebytes & AVG doing the anti gremlin patrols here!

,Ps rufus if you still get bother try
1.Start
2.All programs
3.Accessories
4.System tools
5.Disk cleanup
It will get rid of ALL cookies that common infections hide & cling onto

combofix is another fantastic wee app for getting rid of bugs, I have cleaned PCs that were buggier than a Bangkok brothel with this alone.

A great site that has some detailed instructions for removing some nasty wee fuckers.
