Eindhoven

I will be in Eindhoven on the 9th/10th next month. I have read the various posts on Eindhoven and I see that Cisco is currently there. So any info would be greatful.

I'm travelling with two mates and it looks like we will be staying in the hostel next to New Wave. So will be fairly close to enough coffeeshops with Upstairs, Euro Garden, De Bakkerij, Grasshopper etc near by.

What I would really like to know is best shops for hash, weed quality etc. Also any good pubs that allow weed smoking.

Having never been to Eindhoven before I'm happy to walk about and explore, visting coffeeshops and bars. Basically going with the flow.

We may visit Tilburg on the 10th as I'd like to visit Toermalijn and see a bit of Tilburg, but have a simlar trip planned in Janurary with Mrs Ox so will probably give Tilburg my full attention then.

If anyone else is in Eindhoven on the 9th or 10th and fancies smoke, just let me know.

I will let you know how the trip went in the Travel (after) section when we return.

all the good boozers are on the strip your stayin on mate av stayed there meself its qaulity , the bar below upstairs cs allows smokin mate

Cheers for the replys. Have to admit, i'm looking forward to it now. Will be nice to have a change of pace from Amsterdam. Hope the weathers ok, as I like nothing more than sitting outside a decent smoker friendly bar, having a pint and a smoke watching the world go by.

The only negative things I've heard about Eindhoven is that some of the weed isn't flushed properly, how did you find the weed?

In general nothing really changed over the years in Eindhoven so the posts are up to date. Except for coffeeshop New Wave and The Wall having one new type of weed every now and then but basically everything is the same when you're going to town

i have just returned from eindhoven and found the weed to be very good quality ... recent smokes include -

grasshopper - amnesia haze at 12 euros per gram - very nice
upstairs - jack herrer at 7,50 euros per gram - medium strength
new wave - nycd at 12 euros per gram - very nice
the pink - silver haze at 11 euros per gram - my favourite smoke
the wall - super silver haze at 11 or 12 euros per gram - very nice
meet point - amnesia haze at 11 or 12 euros per gram - very nice

we also visited the coffeeshop speak easy in 's-hertogenbosch (den bosch) and had the super silver haze which was exceptional ... we got the 25 euros for 2.5 grams deal and wished i had bought more, for me the best weed of the trip

All looks good and should have enough info for this short trip.

I would imagine Grasshopper will be our first port of call as its en route to the digs from station, so the Amnesia haze looks like the first smoke of the trip.
