I can't help much with any of that, but maps are widely available in central station..

Why not drop into rookies at 3pm ish on the 16th and join in our toke n talk maybe share info etc
If carlsburg made weed it would be northern lights 5x

Fly By Nite has one, I think. Which is why I was asking he link it on his maps page.

Here is one, not the one I was thinking of though.

OK, I guess the one I was thinking of is this, but it's not complete. It doesn't have Birdy or Empire. The above map might be better

imo the best map for amsterdam is the free mac bike map

there is a little display rack with the maps just inside the door by the window of basjoe

the maps can also be found in hotels and, of course, the mac bike hire places themselves

the maps show the routes that are best for the bikes because the traffic is quieter, these same routes work for walkers for the same reason so the routes are also more pleasant for ambling around town

i just want to double-check that you have read the document How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks

enjoy your trip ...

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the November Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
There are some posted for the 16th and 17th.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=51890

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

The best coffeeshop map of Haarlem I've found is this one.
It works for a lot of cities and towns.
Number 1, Birdy is my favorite.

This one, if you zoom in on Haarlem, has Dreamland, this is the only map I have ever
seen it posted on.

Google Netherlands Coffeeshop Map.

Here is a Haarlem Coffeeshop crawl all planned out for you, That was 2005, now I would add birdy at the beginning and end of the crawl. It is a short walk from the station.

Somewhere in there I would have a meal at Wilma and Alberts.

There are some pubs around too.
