The cups bullshit, whoever throws the most of money at it, be it bribes, samples, advertising or merchandise etc, will win. Just my thoughts, enjoy it if your there tho.

I thought about going to the CC for like 10 seconds. Then I went in April and found out that I like the "kinda sorta crowed but not really" amount of people as opposed to "HOLY SHITBALLS" amount of people. This is also why I will most likely avoid Queen's Day.

You have to remember the cups that the public vote on near enough always go to Barneys and/or Greenhouse and from what I've seen on the net and been told both shops give loads of shit away, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing Barneys giving away t-shirts to the judges when they made their purchases, I dont know about anyone else but I'm a sucker for cannabis related merchandise so I think I'd come away from whoever gave me the most free stuff favourably too them.

It's ok. It isn't a "mission critical" bit of information.

This actually goes in with something that I have observed from the trip reports here. When people start out on a trip the first few strains tend to have a fairly detailed description(nutty overtones, pineapple aroma, etc.) but as they smoke more and more pot it becomes simpler(to quote someone from another forum, "This shit is strong as hell!"). I would imagine(unless you have an extremely high tolerance) that it might be really difficult to judge strains after you've smoke around 5 or 6. Because of this it might easily come down to who gave the most stuff away.
