The Durban at HGF is the best that I have tried. I think it's grown indoors and is probably the Dutch Passions version, which has a little bit of Indica in it's lineage. They didn't have it this last June, it's good to see that it's back!

I've got the Dutch Passion version flowering right now and I can guarantee it doesn't have any indica in it. Plants have a classic sativa structure exactly like you see them diagrammed. According to the breeder's description it's the pure landrace and has never been hybridized. If you look at other seed company's Durban Poison pics they look like a clone of Dutch Passion's(minus Sensi's which is a hybrid). The plant structure of a true Durban Poison is unmistakeable. I'll post a pic of one of my girls when the light turns on tomorrow so you can see what I'm talking about.

Nice looking plant Stanky! I remember reading a High Times article that compared The Dutch Passion Durban with the Sensi Version. I thought that they said that they thought the D.P Durban had been crossed with a hybred to shorten the growing time. They may have been talking about the Sensi version, or it may have just been a guess. Anyway, the D.P version won the contest. Whatever version H.G.F is using, it doesn't feel like a pure Sativa, that's for sure!

I posted a Cannabis Culture article a while back that said the opposite. I have grown both and all I know is the Dutch Passion version looks and smells identical to the Durban Poison clone I had seven years ago that I got through a friend. The high from the Sensi version didn't have the same happy up high that my clone had either. Here's that article if you want to take a peek.

Most smokers notice a unique high when smoking it. This review pretty well sums up the effect it has on me. A real energetic head high.
