Been a while since I've been around due to wedding plans, Sorrento in Italy was such a beautiful place. The wife looks gorgeous on the day and all went smooth. Weather was hot for the day and the views over the bay were breathtaking. Now onto why I'm here.. SHORT TRIP REPORT!! :):)

Well, bearing in mind our flight wasn't until the Monday, My trip kinda started on the Sunday.. after a phone call from the two boys who upon arriving in Amsterdam rang me to ask which train to get on from the airport. I helped all I could.... ;) Hazard to say, they ended up in Ultrect after a nice view of Ajax Stadium. Bless them. Excitement hit me as I remembered one trip where we saw Ajax then slowly realised we had got the wrong train, I managed to spend sunday afternoon smoking some nice Raw Diesel and packing my bags.

Only reason I was waiting till the Monday flights was that me and my brother were working on the Sunday night.. Vital smoking cash was earnt. ;) Unfortunately it was one of the quietest Sunday nights we had had in a long time.. Grrrrr... Should have just got the Sunday flights...

Note... Don't put it off for the sake of earning a few quid. ;)

The Monday trip to Doncaster was uneventful, security a doddle, Searched and patted down as usual. The flight was a different matter... Roughest flight I'd been on.. Well done to the autopilot for landing us safely. Literaly ran through Schiphol security with Kev and Paul in tow, found the booth for our all in one travel passes and headed off to the train. We got the right one and 20 mins later that feeling of elation as we exit Central Station. The atmosphere seems to change as you walk out of Central Station. Love it..

Headed left and to Hunters. Asked to look at the tub of NYCD and the Amnesia Haze. Haze tub came first and I was sold before even looking at the NYCD. Smelt lush, looked lush so I spotted a nice big nug and asked the tender to weigh it up for me. 32 euro... Nice.

Rang the boys who had already arrived and checked into the apartment. We booked through Damcity and was staying in Extreme 4 I believe. Out came the Hunters Amnesia Haze and straight into a nice z shaped bong. There was loads of smoking aparatus available to use. The apartment was clean and well kitted out. Views from the front bedroom over the canals and the old church were great.

That first hit off the bong filled my lungs nicely and nearly killed me.. ;) After a couple more lung fulls I was ready for the next few days.

This, as per most of my trips is where things go badly wrong, MEMORY LOSS... lol

We settled in and I grabbed the sofa in the front bedroom next to the window then it was time to hit the shops.

Walked back to Hunters and grabbed some NYCD. Brilliant.. and some cake. We stayed here for a while supping coffees and getting battered.

From Hunters we headed out to Nes and as I was low on stock I headed off to Bluebird and grabbed a gram of their Kaligra and a gram of the Mexican Ice Hash, . Also grabbed some cake here which I ate on my trek back. Met the boys in Nes and grabbed a pint of Gulpners and the long table near the pool table. Feeling very mashed my bro decided to have a couple of games of pool.. He held his own for a little while then got hammered, bless him.

Mentioned to the boys that I recognised one of the guys at the bar from his profile pic on here, got my wits about me and stumbled over to the bar to introduce myself to Ohm Sweet Ohm. Mumbled something like “I recognise you from the ACD forum, are you the guy with the boat”? DC popped up and said “you must be Hulldj” I managed to put a couple of sentances together not catching the other chaps name then feeling too fucked I excused myself to go sit back down. The other chap I found out later was Gapie. After he brought us over a big vape bag .. Cheers Gapie... had a big pull on the bag and 10 minutes later I was sat with my head in my hands feeling like I was at one with the music. Strangly the music at our end of the bar seemed to be something completely different to what was playing near the door.. weird but definitely a fun experience. Thanks again to Ohm, Gapie and DC. On leaving DC kindly gave me a pure joint of some mysterious weed. It tasted lush, leaving a really nice fruity taste on your tongue. Cheers DC.

I'm back out in mid January so hopefully will be able to hold a bit better conversation without drooling all over the bar ;)

Leaving Nes we headed for some grub and a smoke out sesh at the apartment, DC's joint was smoked first and we all agreed that there was a really nice friuty taste to it, too messed up to give results on any effects but the taste was just lush. Sleep came easily. Great first day for us.

Tuesday, we got up around 10ish fed, had a couple of beers and some more cake then headed out for Rookies. Using our all in one tickets, tram travel was easy while stoned.

Cakes all round in Rookies, gram of the Rookies special, coffee and a seat outside. Spent an hour people watching incapable of doing much more. After walking round for a little we hit Barneys lounge for some Vanilla but they had none in stock so was offered the Blue cheese. Just a buy and fly here then walked over to the other Barneys for the vapes on the tables as Kev wasn't a smoker and had been eating cakes and having a couple on the bongs. Barneys was full so we went into Dampkring, I got some of there tbsila hash I think and some white cheese plus another cake. We all sat down at the back near the bar and tripped out watching some mad shit on the screens.

Had a nice conversation with a couple of the staff there who were all friendly and checking that everything was ok with us, Think I got a free slice of cake here being the stag. Thanks for the hospitality guys.

Time for food and then back to the apartment for us to play a few games on the ps2 and toke some more.

When we got back “home” Duke from damcity came in and gave us a tray of some homemade hash cakes.. Brilliant, we was all well messed up already but, it really would be rude not to, lol.

After about an hour and half we was all on our arses, stuck to the chairs, floor, tables lol. Thanks to Duke for that nice little suprise. This put the rest of the guys out for the night. We had planned on getting wrecked, maybe hitting the casino but after Dukes cake that all went out of the window.

I was still semi concious and as it was our last night of the short trip I had to get to Basjos. Made the treck alone as no one else was capable bless them. For me it was a slow journey, Pink Floyd in the headfones, just perfect. Basjos had a few people in but there was still a few tables available. Grabbed a gram of the Bas special, gram of a hash bout 8 or 9 euros and I'm sure I got some Hawaian weed of some sort here. The name hawian rings bells... hmmmm anyways, 3 grams in total and a 500ml bottle of coke... Grabbed a table near the door and made a pure mix of my three purchases. Nice..... I remember saying thanks to James and handing him a half full bottle of coke to throw away for me then it was lights out for me... I made it “home” and woke up on a sofa. Great solo night I think.

Wednesday was our leaving day so “home” was tidied up and we got our deposit back from Duke and headed back to the airport. I had made a couple of airport smokes from what I was left with and left a bag with the assorted bongs etc for the next guests.

Had a great trip, thanks to Paul my best man for organising things and for the guys that came with us to make for a very forgettable experience. Over the last few trips I have been partaking of the edibles more and find that they proper mess you up if 3 or 4 are eaten over the course of the day. Even maybe just have one in every shop ;)

Back in January and if I can get some digs hopefully will make it for 420 this year too.

Trip advice re mobile phones. Kev was on O2, Paul on Vodafone and I was on Tmobile. O2 have no packages for internet and cheap calls while away, neither do Vodafone. However TMobile gave me internet, texts and about 30 mins talk time for only a tenner on my bill. Internet on my phone was fast enough for maps ect. Well worth the tenner.

As stag do's go it was a very tame trip, we was too messed up even for idle conversation most of the time.. lol

Enjoy reading and I'll be about a little more nearer my next trip.

Thanks for the report of your adventures.

I think I know where you were staying, you are just a few doors down from FEBO right? The one opposite the old pushers bridge.

Funny your journey to Basjoe. Slow with all that weed but I consider it barely around the corner from where you stayed :D

Incredible that you spotted someone from the forum, well done :)

T-Mobile do a ton of "EURO" packages that are good. I even use a T-Mobile UK phone with these packages because it can sometimes be cheaper than a T-Mobile Dutch phone!

Here are all their Euro Boosters: http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/boos ... broadband/

btw where is that game console place? I would love to know.

also, what was your favourite top 3 weeds of the whole trip?

Y'know, I have the worst luck with Damcity. Not saying that their quality isn't where it should be but the reservation system isn't all that hot. Either that or April 18-21 is so popular that everyone has booked everything as of about two months ago(which is possible).
Did you think you'd get rid of me that easily?

Thanks for the comments guys...

The console shop was just off Damrak, We stumbled upon it on our way back from Dampkring and thought it was such a cool little place. I think its erm... one sec... erm... I'm thinking down this alley...

Somebody may be able to shed a little more light on the hunt for the cool console shop from that pic.

The Tmobile Euro boosters are what Ive used in both Amsterdam and also Italy. Great packages, internet connection was fine in both countries and basically no big suprises in your bill when you get home.

Starting off with the Amnesia Haze from Hunters was maybe a bad choice as a starter as eveything else had to be good mixed in with the amount of edibles I consumed I was basically just completely mashed the whole trip. The Hunters amnesia and NYCD were nice.. i have a big smiley face next to their So gouda in some kind of notes I attempted to make. I think for taste it really had to be whatever DC put in that joint he gave me on our way our of Nes.

Thanks Cisco, and you are right in saying PS2 and a shelf full of games were available to use on the dining/cooking floor. Well not on the floor but in the dining room.

Just reading through my old tr and weitroker asked about the consoles shop..

If you head off damrak walk past Prix D'ami and Route 99, up to the headshop. at the end of this little pathway take your first right as if you were walking towards ?Central Station and the consoles shop is on the left . Checked it out in January so that I could report back here and they have some really cool games stuf from through the ages, Speccys, beebs, ataris, neo geos and tons more. Ace little shop to have a look round with a buzz on...

Pop in if you are in the area.
Live.. Love... Laugh and dance more. Stay safe ACD
