€43? bugger me, I got a taxi from Amstelveen to Hoek van Holland one night after a heavy sesh in Dam...'only' €120...that's a good journey

Puffpuffgive - Purple Kush looked and smelled great,but I was pretty baked when I smoked it,so not sure how good it was,sorry.

Sgawain235 - The heavens haze was better than Aok,almost as good as the Bas special.

Rollup - AP has actually done better than C2k this year fantasy wise.And no to Favre.I knew he wouldn't be as good as last year.

Day Three

Wake up with less back pain,so at least the bed is much better.Triple S, and start my journey to the city.Shuttle to the airport,Train to Centraal Station.Its like arriving all over again.Head up to Grey Area and meet John for the 1st time.He is from my Hometown,so we had plenty to talk about.One of the friendliest people I met on my trip,and thats saying alot,cause I met lots of cool people.Bought some chocolope,tasty and a great smoke.It was getting packed inside so I went to Amnesia for awhile.Bought Pink Kush,and Top Dawg.Smoked the Kush hoping for the same taste and effects as the Pink Kush from Popeyes last year.Oh well,not happening. Back to Grey Area to meet the famous Gapie.He showed up with Dirty Uncle Ron.While Speedy rolled joints for Grey Area,DUR and I stayed outside smoking cigarettes and talking for about an hour. I found him to be very interesting.Gapie couldn't stay so he took off,and DUR and I went on a Buy and Fly to many shops I hadn't been to before.

In no particular order we hit Kabouter for Amnesia Haze(great smoke for the price),Twede Kamer,just to see it,but bought Mexican Haze also,as that was one of my favorites from Dampkring last year.Not quite as good, but still excellent.We then headed to eat at Peppino's.We both had the shrimp with pasta,and the sauce was fantastic,spicy but not hot.After dinner we were back on the hunt,headed to Katsu to get some Black Widow.Then to Mellow Yellow for some more S5 haze and some Blueberry Ice which somehow managed to make it home with me.After that it was time for Bas Joe's.Bas Special and Bas Ice,oh so nice.Smoked up a nice fatty of the mix,and then said our goodbyes.Thanks DUR.

Back to 420 for what I thought would be my last smoke of the night.I was sitting at the bar when a mother,father,and 22 year old son came in.Mom was not partaking but dad was.He kept making snide comments to his son about how much he seemingly new about rolling a joint.Found out that they were from California,and made my pitch for prop 19.Said to them that I wish my father and I did this before he passed away,and how they should enjoy the smoke together.Thought that was pretty special in my own warped way.As 420 closes I start my trek back.Train to Schilpol,shuttle to Ibis (getting sick of reading it yet,I was sick of living it).

In my room and I can't get to sleep,I'm all wound up from the all the walking we did.DUR killed me.Go outside and walk around the hotel smoking a spliff and then watch TV.It's now 5:30am and the breakfast buffet is open,figure time for a snack,and since I'm a late riser,take advantage of the free breakfast for once.Finally hit the hay at 7:00.

Slept All Day!!!

What a waste of a day in the Dam.But I was tired and hurting from all the walking.Finally got motivated at 11:30 pm to go out,smoke a joint and get something to eat at the airport.Back by 1:00 and I'm sleeping again.What a waste.

Sorry about the impromptu walkabout. In roughly four hours we covered 3.5mi/5.5km, five coffee-shops, one restaurant, and consumed approximately 7gms of various weed and hash. A nice evening on the town, indeed.
Look forward to doing this again, bicycles are optional.

Hard luck on the hotel front. I`d recommend the Roe Hotel just off Dam square. Big rooms, nice big breakfast too!

I also enjoy the 420 and Amnesia - you got to visit lots of good ones by the looks of it.

Day 5


Saturday morning and I'm feeling rested enough to be out by 10.I have to make - up my quota from yeterday of at least 7 grams a day.So Smoke my first of the day before heading to the city,guess how?First stop is 420 for some more SSH.Hang for awhile,then off to Grey Area.I decided to pitch John my idea for his shop.I thought that the Adam(long red hair)still worked there,and the other Adam is still there,and my name is Adam,and I'm also from America.Therefore John could advertise(i know he can't)come see Adam in A'dam at the Grey Area.Oh well,I asked. Chatted for awhile then went to my first TnT at Paradox for 4pm.

Meet up with Gapie,08-420,and Bleak.And the fun begins.08-420 torches up a Joint,passes it,and starts rolling the next one,and this goes on for about an hour.Then 2 guys that were sitting next to us asked if we were here for the TnT,turns out they were the ones who set it up,but they were from Channels.They quietly stated they were from Austin Texas,But didn't want to be associated with W Bush.I thought that was pretty humorous since I'm not a fan of him also.So the 6 of us continue at it for another hour.Channel guys left and the 4 of us went to Nes. We sat outside and smoked and drank for another hour.It was chilly out,but the fresh air kept me alive.Time to stumble out and find some food.Gapie said his goodbyes and we made a plan to meet at Grey Area on Sunday.


Bleak suggests a chinese restaurant called Wok to Home.I found it better than the other wok places.Had Wonton soup and some noodle dish.The decor is trashy,but the food was worth the trip.Next,we went to Amnesia for milkshakes and a smoke.After an hour we went our seperate ways,with me hitting 420 for 1 last cone,because I haven't smoked enough....

Off to Central for my last trip to Ibis,Yeah.By the time I get back I'm ready to pass out.
