looking for cheap flights from the US

Post by dambug »

I would like to make it back to the dam for the holidays like I did last year. Once again, I cannot find anything under $800 after taxes and fees from Dallas. Outrageous. That's what it cost me last year. Any insight on alternative airlines or sites that are offering better prices?

Good luck, $794 was the cheapest I found (w/taxes).

Edit. Wait a sec...why would you expect to pay LESS than last year. That don't make sense.

Well yeah JFK would be quite a bit cheaper than Dallas, at least you'd think. Oh yeah I forgot about all those volcano troubles. I felt bad for ya'll last spring.

Prices seem to have been stuck around the 800 range from my area for about a year with no sign of going down. No other major cities like London are any less either. Relatively speaking it's a good deal. But I could swear that only a year and a half ago I saw some deals in the 500 range.

KLM runs specials every now and then. Not sure if they fly out of Dallas, but if they do, get on their email list.
