Going to the Victoria?

If anyone is going to the Victoria Hotel, stay in room 608 (or 618--ask at the desk for the right number), it is the one with the corner balcony, looking right out at Centraal Station. At night, the french doors propped open, some tunes playing quietly, 6 floors up from the now quiet street, the lights of the station illuminating it like an 18th century castle...Freaking beautiful.

Wish I had that view when I stayed there August 2004 but my room was situated at the back of the hotel (no street view).

It's expensive to stay there but it's well worth it I have to say.

we had that room also. It was awesome.
