There's a bar at the very top right of the RLD IIRC, you could go through the back and sit next to the canal with piped music, very chilled

Ricks bar(next to Ricks CS) usually have a happy hour with beer half price a pint between 3-6pm if memory serves me right. A good enough place to have a pint and a smoke for a few hours.

made the mistake of sitting outside ricks cafe recently, and sitting in the seats that were 'waited' on, by the bar next door. i forget the name, but they do NOT do cheap beers. and the english slightly 'punky/alternative' waitress was a royal cock.

the owner was an angry little bollocks too as out apartment was between the 2 though the guy did let us blaze on his outside seats beside the canal while watching guys do capoeira in front of us.

the old wembley bar in the back of the RLD Monniken street i think do serious pint larggeee pints for 4 euros all day everyday , and shots 2.50 of jagermeister , in the RLD so alot tend to pop in for a pint loved it there last visit
