Welcome to reality! NL was NEVER tolerant and has always been strongly Christian party. It has always had a few extreme right Christian parties with seats in Parliament. I am amazed a few months after finally moving to this country of tolerance, it swings so far to the right. But maybe this is to do with judging a country on my experiences in Amsterdam? I am beginning to think Amsterdam should be a country all of its own... IMO, The Dutch are actually not that tolerant at all, and Christian politics has a huge influence in this country.

You are right, you do sound like a dick, just beacuse u may not want to read it, it doesnt mean other people dont, i was under the impression this was a forum that allowed free speech, and 2011 is less than 2 months away so in my book that is quiet soon, if these changes could take place in the next 6 months then maybe people who dont read/watch the news would like to stay up to date on the situation so they can get to arrange trips over there etc.Marco wrote:Man, so much CHICKEN LITTLE and other bullshit in the this thread.
