Do any of the coffee shops have decks you can use??

The only thing I would say is, no matter how good you think you are, don't expect a positive response.

I've seen countless morons go into coffeeshops and produce their CD or MP3 player and asking to play it, often just to showboat to their buddies.

Thing is, only they and maybe their party will like the music. Nobody else in the CS will. Plus each CS has its own theme that they present to the public and their own music is part of that.

So refusal is often what happens. CS is not a personal playground but some people think it is.

OP I am not aiming this at you. Just letting you know the score from someone who hangs too often in coffeeshops :)

thats sound thanks, i wanted to see if posible before dragging my vinyl away for no reason- nice one 8) 8)

If you like dnb/dubstep/.., go to Hill Street Blues. They play a lot of this, and they play the sound from youtube/deezer/... so you can ask the girls to play something for you, they'll do it without a problem

if its still open (been awhile since i went to this place) and the same nights running, Kashmir Lounge have a set of decks and run open evenings where anyone can turn up and mix, this was going on 8\9 years ago now
