No one has to reveal their personal medical details to a stranger, bartender or budtender.

No one is saying "he has to", but the question was "what should I do"... and the advice being given is to be safe instead of sorry.

If I choose to tell a budtender or other person working in any establishment for that matter... that I have an epi-pen inside my jacket, and to use it on me if required -- don't you think that is more pragmatic than waiting for an alergetic reaction and trying to explain my meds then?

Common sense... why is our society against using it?

Good points. My worry would be if someone overheard the word morphine and robbed him later on.

Bt's / Owners can be the best people to ask , I had a few good conversations with people about my wifes problems & what strains had helped her :) & as has been said , do make sure you have a covering letter from your doc :)
