Best CoffeeShop's for solo trips.

Post by articulomortis »

Hey,
I'm travelling to the 'dam for a few days on my own in December and wondered if there were any coffeeshops more suited to being on your own rather than a large group?

I'm going to visit as many as I can, but it'd be nice to find a quiet regular shop that I can keep going back to for a smoke and relax.

Cheers!

Shops like Greenhouse on Haarlemmerstraat would be good. Homegrown Fantasy is also nice for someone solo, and it has free wifi. Basjoe has books kicking around if I recall and a beautiful window seat to watch the day go by.

honestly, any shop is a good shop... a bigger one will allow to be lost amongst a crowd if that's what you want... a smaller shop (grey area) will be an opportunity to talk to the people around you, again -- if that's what you want.

either way, enjoy!

peace

I'm not planning on doing any of the 'tourist' stuff, just get high haha!

I've heard of many folk that the Grey Area is a really nice shop!

Cheers!
