ok, i made it... sorry didn't take pictures during the process but will post the pre scrape and scrape.
I used 99% iso, 500ml and about 35 grams of weed and byproduct leftover.
combined the iso and green in a mason jar and shook vigorously for 30 second then strained and drained the iso.
it's on a cassarole dish near window evaporating the remaining iso.
nice yellowish-tan liquid, no real trace of green!

Gotta correct you guys about using vaped herb. If you throw that stuff out you're wasting a lot of good THC.
I collect my vaped herb for 6 months at a time, then make oil from it. Of course you get less oil compared to using fresh buds, but the oil you do get is potent, believe me.
The oil from vaped herb doesn't taste as nice, if that matters, but that shouldn't stop you.
Here are 2 pics of the oil I have made from vaped buds, using the QWISO method -

So I had a nice sized dish...

A closer look... no green material or color... I used a strain and coffee philter to keep all plant mater out...

Before I scraped the dish dry I sampled a couple jays and about 0.1 gram per joint... very very VERY nice... this is what I have left after probably 7 jays... this weighs about 1.1 grams...

closer look... it is balled now, but by next morning it will flatten out a little... it's almost glossy or glassy... i can't see any crystals, but it is definitely all thc... almost oily. any plant material you see on the ball is from my fingers by playing with the ball too much lol.

AWESOME TC !!!
Now, if you want my advice ( if you do not, no worries at all ).
-Leave the ball for a few days to continue to dry out the rest of the iso
-then slowly start adding the kief you showed
-keep adding keif massaging it into the ball until the ball is dry to the touch but still "tacky"
You will not believe the end product until you try it.
But maybe as a test start with a very small corner of that ball.

I am going to do this... cuz I think the high should be a little more intense, although I have to say... right now... I've only smoked one in the last 2 hours now... and that is a long time for me. Im working the last off the dish and will add to the ball. I'll wait another day and add my crystals. btw -- I sived (sp?) my kiff and removed all the fat mater and plant material.... so what's left is as pure and clean as I can get it. it's going in a mason jar in the dark for a couple days or longer if possible.Iko wrote:AWESOME TC !!!

Iko you are wise!
That oily ball sat for a couple days in an airtight jar... and now it looks like this...

Crumply, still sticky to the touch, and incredibly potent... can't wait for the next time I make this and have more patience through the curing process.
it's actually chocolate colored, but i took the pictures at night with a desk lamp as the light source so it looks greenish when it is in fact brownish.
