Mixed bag 5 gram deal??????

Post by FlyByNite »

Does anyone know of any coffeeshops that sell a mixed bag 5 gram deal? One gram each of five different weeds or at least a mixture of two or three strains. They could preweigh and put it in blister packs. I really enjoy the variety in Amsterdam, so 5 grams of any one weed isn't really a deal to me.

The coffeeshop that sells a variety pack would get my business every trip.

never even thought of it but it's a good idea and I can't think of a good reason why not... only thing is its the customer that will get the better deal, only for the vairety side of things... might prove a problem as different weeds might have different prices but maybe a deal could be struck ... DC is the man... ??

It would be handy but it needs to be pick and mix...like at the sweet shop!

You dont want to end up with the dregs of each batch in a mix bag.
You missed it right?

If you have a couple of different strains, and you mix them into one joint, does it give a different/stronger effect?
Didn't try it when i was in Dam and never realy had the chance back home to find out first hand!

I've been told that Softland offers a mixed bag 5 gram deal for 25 Euro. I'll confirm this my next trip.

I also tend to enjoy trying a variety whilst I am in The Dam so am not that keen on 5gm deals. I have on quite a few occasions bought between 3 and 5 different strains from a shop and got some money off, but more often than not, you may just get some free skins, lighters or a coffee.

Cheers

If you look at it realisticly you#ll probably save around 5 Euros.... which is probably tip worthy anyway........ I'd just buy a g. at a time ...... Which gives me more time to go back to the counter..... it's one of my favourite bits......

Logistically, it would be a right pain in the butt.

The bag would have to be preweighed and a cross strain deal calculated beforehand. Not everybody would like all the weeds in the bag and it's actually a minority that want to buy 5 grams in one go anyway. So, this leaves 5 gram bags waiting to be sold, 10 of them and that adds up to 1/10 of your total stock allowance. Which, for a product that'll sell slow is too much hassle as 500 grams isn't actually alot of space to juggle with. Staff would still have to show the weeds in the pot so customers would know whats in the bags and trying to explain where the actual deal over the 5 grams is... to a stoner?... doesn't even bear thinkin about!.

Ya also gotta remember, if no shop offered any deal for anything ...they'd still sell as much of their weed as they do now.

I think a flat discount for a 3 gram or a 5 gram purchase would work.

For example, you could buy a gram of this bud, a gram of that bud and a gram of hash for 35 euros retail and get a flat discount of 10% leaving a total of 31.50 euros. You would get a better discount on 5 grams.

The sale could work like this. The budtender shows the customer 4 samples. Then offers price per gram an each or the 3 gram special price. The 4th sample is there to give the customer something to reject and picks the 3 "best" to purchase.
My thoughts are free.

I think most budtenders have plenty to do anyway....... They always look pretty busy to me.

Willie Wortels coffeeshops do a % discount depending on how much you spend, I think it kicks in once you spend over €25 and then a bigger discount for over €50 (dont quote me on that though)

That's right. All ww shops in Haarlem off that deal. And it can be a mixed deal aswell. Something like an extra 12.50 € on the 50 deals. You could have 25 of one strain, 25 of another and the free 12.50 of another. If the dealers in a good mood maybe you could get 10 euro of 5 strains plus 12.50 of the 6th. They are usually pleasent enough in their so never a harm to ask.

very good point there DrGonzo... I just cant wait to get the the bud bar and read the menu trying to decide what to buy... and knowing whats in store for me is so exciting... multiple visits is the way for me, I'm not worried about the price... although the ww deals sound good and simple.
