I play the game without a judge pass. we all know that it's a big cash cow, anyway it will be a freaky party! the concerts are not my style of music, so I won't miss that. if you want to go to the expo just get a day ticket.

i heard that someone is coming wit a Triple jack or something du genre at Cup !

If they want to give me a free pass I will take it, but I am not paying 250 Euro to be a judge who does not even get any weed to judge, lol!

Remember this though, a lot of people think the town is transformed during cup week. Truth is, it isn't. It is barely a ripple on Amsterdam, I think some major conferences have a way bigger effect.

In many CSs, there is not even a noticeable different that week. In fact, other events seem to have a far bigger effect like the tons of English pouring in the week after for Innovation, huge drum and bass event.

Well the good places are busy with or without the cup, it'd be nice to go for experience n to say ive been but hey 250e for a pass or 20+gr of top bud ? nobrainer for a propa stona lol

Id also add that a lot of people like different weeds n so just coz its won a cup dont mean its gona float YOUR boat ....

Yeah i'd never buy a judge's pass, because the perks are almost none! Spend it on alot of good pot and make the judgement to yourself!

To be fair to Grey Area they place in the top 3 for most the catergories they enter and they dont bribe Hightimes like Greenhouse and Barneys do.

i dont really care about all that cup stuff too much...i use it for the expo....everyone has there own opinions on the cup weeds....il bash barneys right now joe...the helter skelter hash tastes like benzene and gives me a headache and its over priced crap...see...im impartial

I don't think Barneys and Greenhouse bribe Hightimes, but they definitely bribe the judges with tons of freebies. I think if other coffeeshops copied the model of breeding their own strains and giving away tons of free shit the cup would be a much more balanced event. As is the winner is going to be the shop that treats the judges like royalty and has bribed them well enough. In a way I think the shops that spend the extra money to breed their own and pamper the judges deserve to win since they actually put time and effort into winning, unlike the competition who will just enter someone elses strain and parade it as their own.

i wouldnt be suprised if they all tried to bribe hightimes. Coffeeshops arent allowed to advertise so this is their advertisement. I know alot of people will buy strains just because they are in the top 3, regardless of what batch they are buying.

lol obviously it is bribing, but being on that list is advertising for them, i suppose this does make it false advertisement though as its not a honest list.
