Well, after seeing (and smoking) this years cup entries, I can confirm that the CC has to be a fix. Tangerine Dream is Barneys entry. Over-rated. No orange or tangerine flavour, just a slight citrus burst on the first pull only. Followed by an anxious experience whilst smoking it... thoughts which entered my mind whilst smoking it were "THIS IS OVER-PRICED, HAD BETTER IN LONDON, PASS THIS CRAP OVER, UGH -I NEED A DRINK, CLOSE THE COFFESHOPS, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE"... No, really, Amsterdam is slipping imo. Too many money hungry wankers running coffeeshops these days. I wouldn't mind if they had a genuine and infectious passion for the green... they do, but it's for the colour of money. Not bud :/ wankers.

I don't believe it is completely fixed but rather skewed. There is a variety of reasons imo that result in this skewing, with the biggest ones being:
1.Poor voter quality: You cannot expect to get accurate results when the overwhelming majority of judges are American/Canadian and they lack the experience needed to properly judge a strain. I mean when you get here you get wasted with pretty much anything (even Dampkring's salad) so how can you judge relative strengths/ differences?
2. Marketing: If you are aware of the above fact the only thing you need to arrange is free shuttle rides to your coffeeshop for judges in the beginning. Now you have just made your weed a whole lot more memorable for a few people.
3. Goody Bags: If your coffeeshop is somewhat famous and you give a few more memorabilia trinkers there you have it: Instant cup win
