So what if i don't want a full gram?

Ive bin to 'dam about 6 times and never asked in a shop but i was wondering if you always have to get a gram. I mean i wouldnt go into a shop and just buy 0.5 gram of something. But say for example i bought a gram or something or a gram of two diff stains but wanted a half gram of another, would shops be okay with this or are they strict on gram minimums? i know some shops will let you pick a bud as i have done this before.

Most shop will sell a half gram and some even have 5 euro deals. Easiest thing to do is ask.

yeh a few would oblige but they really are not too happy selling 1/2 grammes

Home grown fantasy definalty does half gram deals, and 420 did a 1 gram minimum, but i was allowed to have half a gram of two types.

many places will do two different half grams as the 1 gram sale.

dont ask for 1/2 g in hunters!
but you can ask to see the 1/2g menu at de graal....most of their special little bits and pieces are available in little 1/2 g bags. Try and not just walk out with a half g on its own though, its a bit of a wind up.

haha yeh i wont be walking in there just asking for half a gram. but what tends to happen is ill buy a gram or 2 of something ive had my eyes set on then there is always another one that i want to try but havent got the money to keep paying for full grams for stuff im not too sure about. This mainly applys to hash for me. Im not a big hash smoker but would like to try a few, half grams would help me with this...

Why do a half g menu if they get pissed when ppl use it, remember were tourists who take an awful lot o spend on bud but for locals living there daily even buying top shelf bud everyday isnt viable. The fact they have a half g menu shows the demand for it n im sure that its still profitable too.

yh i can understand a minimum of a gram buy. But if shops want to profit maximise then give the customer what he wants. If he wants a gram of one and half of another then i think that should be kl, im definitely going to ask when im there. Will double the amount i can try

The reason I mentioned De Graal is that they are very happy to do piddly little deals and hence their menu has its own half gram column, I got the impression the owner loves letting customers sample some of his more rare offerings, which it does. You can spend tewnty five euros for example and have four or five really rare and unsual bits of hash in your pocket, a red leb, charas, a bit of indian black and a morrocan fopr example, and all are well rated for their type. They are exceptionally nice chilled CS owners. My comment about try not to just buy one is just a suggestion to help you get a warm reception. Just dont expect the same warmth as you spend your few euros in other more bustly/profit orientated establishments with a queue behind you, thats all. One of many reasons why De Graal is a lovely cs...

yeh i see what your saying. I will probably only ask if i have already bought a few grams. I've read a load of reports where people have bought half grams so hopefully it shouldnt be a problem

I've thought about this, but have just taken 150E for each day, so I can defientely smoke enough haha

i usually get a lot of half grams to try as many different types as poss. Just ask.. most places will do it, especially if you're buying more than one thing. if you're buying top end stuff they'll still get around 20euro sale out of you for two half grams and a drink.
also can depend on budtenders mood!!

Thought it was just locals that done that,never asked for a half gram myself .
