So they only have a majority of 76 out of 150? Doesn't that mean that it would only take 2 of their politicians to abstain or 1 to vote against it and its screwed?

Yea, but 2 on the minority could change also I suppose.

My feeling is that this is more trouble than its worth. Can you imagine the RLD with the dealers having a ready market for weed..... I can understand why they want to stop some of this drug tourism but this horse has already bolted.

Agreed, the only thing banning tourists is going to do is make drug dealing on the streets more prevalent. That and force alot of businesses to suffer and have to shut down. :roll:

I was thinking about this whilst making a cup of tea. Students at the University wont need to borrow/work anymore. Just stand outside central station or haarlemstraat with pocket fulls of weed. Add $5 to the price of the cs and watch the money roll in. Its all too easy to predict.

As i stated in a recent thread the smoking ban has resulted in far more spliffs being smoked on the street which isn't good if you are a local so i hate to know what a ban would do.
