Best electronics shop near Central Station

Post by 08-420 »

So I am doing my packing right now and can't find the charger for my camera batteries.

I don't doubt that I will find one in Amsterdam, but I would like to sort it out the first thing I do when I arrive. So, what's the best electronics shop near Central Station? Preferably one with a Canon sortiment. I need a charger, or simply a new battery of this kind:

I know Duracell makes their own version of this battery, and also a good charger so a shop that carries their stuff would probably work aswell.

Hope someone will help me :)

There's a camera shop I've noticed on Rokin.. There could be something closer though if you walk down Nieuwendijk / Kalverstraat..

Good luck!

If you are flying in, you can get them at the airport. In the main hall/shopping area. Its called the Capi shop

I called the shop for you and they have both the battery and charger in.

And if your some reason they do not, I have the same charger for my Canon. You could borrow it for a few days (until mid-next week) if you really needed it. Peace

Thank you, excellent service here :D
I'll let you know if I can't find one.

Maybe the camera is charged when connected to USB also? I don't want to empty the battery to try it out though
