Chapiteau or Katsu??

Post by us2 »

Just wondered if anyone has tried the Black Widow from both Chapiteau & Katsu. We had some from Chapiteau on our last trip which was very nice, didn't get as far as Katsu so can't compare. Cost was €10 1g in Chapiteau & €10 0.8g in Katsu, anyone know if it's worth the treck to Katsu?

I think they are exactly the same. But I have not been to Katsu in ages.

There are many other reasons to go to Katsu besides to the BW by the way! :D

you can roll up in the place where you buy the weeds, its sort of a hallway where the guy sits behind the glass. But you cannot light up inside?

Stuart mate, check my post about Bij....got back from Dam Thursday night.

The Black Widow from Chapiteau and Katsu are the same....more or less. Chapiteau's version is lighter and fluffier in terms of the buds, Katsus's is more compressed and arguably a bit stickier when broken apart or ground. Get 5g of Black Widow from Chapiteau all day long mate, it may have had less of a cure but it's much better value. The OG Kush 18 from Katsu is potent as ever btw, worth a look.

Separately, I know you;re a fan so check the NYCD from Bij. On Wednesday it was the best I've had in 'Dam - 8.50 a gram.

Have a great trip!

Christ mate read my post above! Better value on BW at Chapiteau, but for a varied (if more expensive) menu try Katsu, which is hardly a trek at 10 minutes on the tram from Central Station.

either way, have a blast.

It seems like a treck when your stoned :D and as for the trams i wouldn't know which one to get & the strippenkaart thing totally confuses me so we tend to walk a lot on our trips

Furry muff, furry muff mate. Depends on where you're staying then I guess, Katsu is south of Centrum, Chapiteau is in the west/north-west part of town and arguably harder to find. Tram 16/24, Albert Cuypstraat stop for Katsu, tram 10, De Wittenkade stop for Chapiteau.

This site has a pretty good journey planner:
