Day 2 Wednesday November 10th, 2010....
I woke up to my first Amsterdam morning of the trip and a bong hit was in order then a hot shower....
when i went into the living room i found Rob and Terry up and already having a wake n bake session,
nice....I sat on the couch and loaded up a bowl of pink kush and somehow had the ability to get into the
shower..The shower was a rather interesting adventure of it's own, upon arrival the owner attempted to turn
on the light in the bathroom and it wouldn't turn on..She assured us she would have someone come fix it
as soon as possible, no biggie we just drug the lamp from the living room into the bath via an extension cord
...Worked like a charm even though it posed serious electricution issues now that i think about it on a somewhat
sober mind?!?!?! So breakfast was in order and once again i suggested our destination, Barney's Uptown so
we could eat and smoke..We arrived to a very empty Barneys and a very friendly waitress, i needed coffee and
something strong so i had a black coffee, Terry had a white coffee and wonderboy Rob had hot cocoa...The
menu here at the Uptown is very very impressive, i settled on the blueberry marscapone pancakes drizzled
with honey and topped with crushed walnuts, while the boys both had the irish breakfasts(boring)... My
plate looked like something off food and wine magazine, no joke and the taste was even better...The pancakes
warmth melted the marscapone and bluberry mix and once those met with Mr.honey walnut mix...Ahhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Insert angels chorus here!!!!! This was pure bliss!! Moments like this are few and far between,
i stopped eating for a second to roll up a joint of some mixed buds we had and some hash...A mid breakfast session
was necessary...Only in Amsterdam fellas!! SO however boring the boys Irish breakfast was it looked good and
filling which is important...We relaxed at Uptown talking about our day and the only thing Rob and i had on our
minds was BUTTER!!!!!!!!! So we paid our tab, tipping the ladies generously and Rob snapped some photos of the
Uptown..I wanted to stop at Barney's coffeeshop for some of the infamous Dr.Grinspoon pure sativa, which looked
scary in the container!!! 2 grams please!!! At 17 euro a gram i was praying this to be some killer bud!!! We headed over
to Voyager Coffeeshop where we met..........STOP!!!!!!!!! While i was there i met the budtender by his name and i remember
mentioning the Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory to see if he may be HighlyBlessed but either i didn't clearly state it
or i was so high i thought i did????? Either way thanks to Blueberry i found out this fella is in fact HighlyBlessed SO i
will not mention him by his real name.....BACK to the story....We stumble into the Voyager and meet Mr Highlyblessed
who turns out to be OUR favorite budtender of the entire trip!!!!!! We look over the menu and discuss the Pink Strawberry
Kush and whether or not it was going to be their cup entry, he wasn't sure at this point...We already knew we wanted
some butter, but the Pink strawberry kush looked tempting too, so we picked up some to add to the collection...I ordered
a coffee needing the caffeine this early...I got a bong from HB and loaded up some Dr.Grinspoon to finally settle this
once and for all, was this weed worth all the hype and price?????? HOLY FREAKING COUGH SESSION!!!!!! WOW WOW
WOW This stuff is NO DOUBT A TRUE SATIVA!!!!!! My eyes started fluttering and my mouth began a chat session with
whoever was in sight...I felt that HighlyBlessed needed to experience this feeling as well so i loaded up the bong and
walked over to the counter offering him the bowl...He accepted it, probably wishing he hadn't but he did and cleared the
bowl in a very nice hit....What happened after was not much fun for Mr.HB poor fella coughed a lung out for nearly 10 minutes
..Its one of those moments where you feel bad cause HB is a spliff guy but took the bong out of courtesy and it
nearly killed him... Sorry HB, glad you hit the last joint in Amsterdam with us after the Grinspoon inncident...So after
a little more time at Voyager which by the way is an amazing little coffeeshop, great menu, great service, and even better
butter!!!!! We ventured up towards the Red Light to do some window shopping and sightseeing..While looking around
we found The Green Place went right in and found the most westcoast happy menu of the trip, it was all strains popular
here in the westcoast, minus a few we haven't seen.. We as a group ended up getting some Chocolope, OG Lemon, Hia hash,
and some Twizzla hash..The corner window seat opened up and we ordered some drinks and a bong..This was
the first shop where i had a Dr.Pepper, i just love the taste of it after hitting the bong...So we decided to roll the chocolope
up in a joint and hit the OG Lemon which i HIGHLY recommend in the bong with pieces of our new hash..This was a
nice session that ended up going in quite a few tourists photos as sitting in a window in Amsterdam your gonna be
gawked at by the nonsmokers...I don't mind, i blow out some monster hits for them:) Rob doing his own research
wanted to locate the Hunters coffeeshop, knowing we were close i guided the way..Once inside we were greeted by a
super nice dealer willing to show off whatever we asked to see.. I loved all the buds here and Sogouda looked the nicest
and i remember it being recommended to me by a few board members..Picked up 2 grams and Rob got the Pineapple
Express which really did have a faint smell of pineapple... We got another comfy seat at Hunters ordered drinks and started
another session starting with the pineapple express in the bong, really smooth and sweet taste, good lung expansion too.
We also rolled up using some Cones a few Sogouda hash mixed joints which smoked super nice!!! Terry decided enough
was enough on coffeeshopping so he split and went out on his own, which was good for him...He needs to see Amsterdam
through his own eyes and not through ours....So Rob and I went on our own adventures that led us back to the centrum to explore
areas we haven't seen yet, i wanted to try wok to walk or the Famed Burger Bar but not just yet.. We ended up having another
session at homegrown fantasy plus Rob was waiting on Cheese skuff from the dealer there...I bought another vanilla cake
for later and we headed over to Burger Bar for dinner... I got the med size Angus burger medium well with cheddar and bacon
NO SAUCE!!!! NO SAUCE MENTIONED AGAIN JUST IN CASE!!!! Get home and the entire burger is saturated in nasty sauce, i
like to taste the meat not some gross mayo crap!!!! After scooping the glob of goop off my burger and bun i ate it with an
open mind and it still sucked!!!! All i kept thinking was damn i wish i had an In and Out Burger right now!!! I may try it again on
another trip, but not on this one...Rob and i went down to the coffeeshop located just steps from our place callled Utopia, now i
warned Rob pre trip and so far on this one to not get order happy at each shop, some places we just go look order drinks and
chill...BUT my friend had to learn on his own, the dealer who had zero clue to what he had or didn't have recommended some
bud called Pot of Gold..Now it looked decent, had a yellowish color to it...However the smell that you couldn't smell cause it's
prepackaged bud was lacking!!!! Now i've had plenty of weed that smelled bad or smelled of nothing that completely wrecked
me, however the Pot O crap was not to be added to that list.....I couldn't help myself from laughing at his misfortune...Gotta
learn eventually..At least he didn't learn at Smokeys like i did my first trip....WOW.. We felt another shop in the neighborhood was in
order before closing time and we wanted to try the resin at Resin so off we went, the menu was a typical central menu ak, amnesia haze,
etc... But Rob not remembering Utopia or any advice i'd given orders up some Desert Eagle...I got some Resin Haze ice o hash, we got a
bong and a table and loaded up the Desert eagle with The resin and got tore up, but all i could taste was the
metallic taste of the ice hash... So i loaded up a straight bowl of the DE and nothing, WOW not again!!!! BACK TO BACK BUNK!!!! THE
RESIN HAZE HOWEVER IS NOT BUNK!!!!!! This ended up in many many many hits throughout the trip!!!! Resin is a pretty laid back
shop that we both liked a lot...There was a group of Dutchies sitting in a booth it was 5 gorgeous girls and one very lucky guy...The guy
was sitting in the swing which i found odd...It would've been nice seeing one of the gals in it... Back to the apartment we went
to find our friend rather drunk and telling us of his adventure at Teasers!!!OMG this dude had a blast, he closed it down properly
sin city style!!!! Atta boy Terry!!! Rob and i rolled up a few joints and smoked down some of our loot.. This OG Lemon from Green Place
is lovely hits like a champ in our bong, and the high is Very sleepy!! Up to my room i go!!! Day 2 kicked my ass!!!!!!!!
THE EVIL EVIL DR.GRINSPOON: Worth all the hype and the price!!! Stone is a 4.5 out of 5 with a total in your face mind high!!!!! Great wake n bake
weed!!! If you don't believe me ask HighlyBlessed.... Again on that note that guy is great and SO is VOYAGER!!!!!!!
Voyager's BUTTER....This stuff is wicked, we mixed it in joints topped bong hits with it, and each time it was a straight Wu Tang Karate
CHOP to your body and head!!!! Holy wow!!! We took a few as straight as we could hits of it mixed with a tiny amount of weed and
the English language became a thing of the past, the things that came from our mouths was tribal to say the least...If i could smear butter on
everything i would!!!!! Thanks HIGHLYBLESSED!!!!!

Resin Haze from Resin Coffeeshop.... PURE FIRE!!!!! i took a straight hit in the vapo at anyday of this ice hash and vaugely remembered my name
this stuff is expensive but worth every euro cause you don't need much!!!!!
Sour kush from Green Place forgot this was purchased on day 2, oops....Good thing camera keeps track! This stuff was nice and did have a funky
sour taste...The high was nice out of the bong, i remember it made me cough and that's when i tasted how nice it was...Great shop, even better weed..

Pink strawberry kush from voyager.... Honestly i don't remember this strain much, it got lost in the shuffle..I do remember smelling it in the
container and it was very nice..Sweet and kushy!!
Lemon OG from Green Place, wow wow wow again...Super bud!!! This stuff tastes so much like citrus its amazing!!! Great in a spliff!!
