Happy Thanksgiving

Post by Marco »

Wishing all the American ACDers (actually all of you) a Happy Thanksgiving. Its the best American holiday, because you get together with family and close friends to stuff your face, watch football (and in some cases) argue with that cranky Uncle you have not seen for years.

I am invited to a dinner tonight, very grateful for that as family is far away.

I think there are two issues with T-day in NL----finding a turkey and finding an oven big enough to cook it in!

Happy Thanksgiving y'all who celebrate it. Making a ham, turkey, mashed potatoes w/gravy, green bean casserole, corn, my famous cornbread dressing and lots of other goodies. Can't stand those nasty gizzards so I use Jimmy Dean sausage in my dressing. The stuff is so good my son called me the other day to get the recipe saying "That's the best dressing I've ever had and want to make it for the office, mom". Most awesome compliment I could ever receive.
