Thanks Dava yeah there are one or two that are image heavy and that is probably it, I'm also not the most patient person in the world and just say feck that and give up..
no worries chick, in my opinion the iphones do a really good job at processing full websites (iphone4/3GS) and the clarity of the websites is immense on the iphone 4!

@DaveJ, try downloading the generic symbian version of Skype from the Skype website. I was having the same problem with my N95-8GB until I downloaded a version that 3 had not messed with. Hope this helps

no, iOS is miles ahead of symbian, and obviously symbian had the headstart, android is also better than symbian. (not just saying this have had symbian phones in the past n95 8gb/ E70 and it was shocking)

Thought this may interest some of ya...

Nokia Siemens, one of the world's top suppliers of cellular infrastructure, claims that iOS 4.2 ships with a new technology called network-controlled fast dormancy which better optimizes how the phone connects to the network. Furthermore, Nokia Siemens claims that network-controlled fast dormancy provides better battery life and less unnecessary network utilization.

Nokia discovered the technology in the OS by conducting its own tests and not by working with Apple on implementing it. Nokia Siemens was also quick to point out that it had implemented the technique in all of its smartphones starting earlier this year

i know nokia make most of the technological advances in the cellular world, but fuck me symbian sucks, and they have by far the most inferior smartphone operating system in any device, even tho they are the biggest mobile company in the world.

Not disagreeing with you Dava, Just thought it an interesting bit of info for this thread. Like you said, Symbian had the headstart...... so how did they go so wrong?? Head up their own arses maybe? Look at the nokia mapping system OVI maps free... proper shite.
