Yes yes TD, had meant to reply to this post earlier. Glad to hear you, liquidswords and others had a blast recently. Peeped 1 or 2 trip reports and the youtube video, wicked stuff, you zoning on the couch cradling that spliff all lean was a fitting ending. Any rate, was in 'Dam just before the CC, best 3 purchases were:

1) OG 18, Katsu. A cut above every other Indica I tried, rinsed out Media's Hindu Kush, the best night time smoke I bought the whole trip. (got 1 last dutch of it amongst other bits if you want to meet up)

2) NYCD, Bij. At a mere 8.50/g, cheap by 2010 Dam standards, possibly the best ever example of NY Diesel I have bought. Textbook punk mate, cured to the point of buds snapping perfectly but with a hint of moisture, a fluffy example of the strain with real potency and major grapefruit aroma. Stunk out the counter over other weeds when various tubs were opened. Still got about 2 g from the last trip (see brackets above mate). Christ, the amount I have banged on about this bud, it should be number 1!

3) SSH, Ocean. Best in the city, certainly the most consistently dank, sticky, typically trippy Super Silver I have had in Dam. Underrated shop, their S5 haze (peep both sets of parentheses above man, you know the SP) cannot be beaten at 2.5g for 20E.

Best smoke of the year was MAY: John Sinclair (Infact best smoke of my life)

November: Ultra Lemon Bio Haze from Voyagers, not the strongest but it tasted of fooking lemons for the first time ever a lemon strain tasted like lemons. (For me anyway oh Hindu Kush @ Media was close and worht the trek)

And last but not least is simple, November SPOON!!! and we all know where that comes from but it counts as its in the Damage every November.

I went twice this year. Feb just about edges it, mainly for the variety. In sept the majority of stuff that i liked was amneisa haze or very similar.

After reading your description I had to go there today and check it, and it's still great

For me it was the year of Amnesia Haze in Amsterdam, the all-time best I had being: Kabouter's, purchased on world cup final day, followed by Ocean's, trophy-winning example in about September.

Third place goes to my first home-grow, on my sunny balcony here, Top Dawg (Barney's Farm Seeds), October harvest, 3 plants - super happy with the results and still plenty left for the vaporizer!

No worries kushy, glad it's still all good. The White Choco at Bij was fantastic at 7.25E/g too, very sweet tasting bud if not the most potent, great for daytime. Please keep us posted on the menus at Bij & BJ, Cheese XL seems to be a new addition, sadly the Love Potion & Casey Jones were both sold out both days when I was there. The White Rhino has always been good as was the White Russian last time but the Master Kush was a total disappointment (from BJ), rock hard over dry buds which just didn't do it for me. Definitely sounds like there was a lot of great Amnesia about, Kabouter's at 8.50/g was definitely a great example but I preferred Ocean's myself mate, their SSH was even better. The Top Dawg sounds top drawer btw, good work.

kli mist at grey area was nice, mexican haze at dampkring, bubba kush at dampkring and amazing haze at hgf...all good smokes this trip. only truelly BAD smoke was strawberry kush from grey area.

best hash was the butter from voyagers.

Amnesia Haze from Babylon (still my favourite of every shop i visited)
Super Silver Haze from Hunters ( very good smoke maybe just a step below amnesia)

2) S5 Haze (Bio) - Weed - Mellow Yellow - October 2010

3) Amnesia Haze - Weed - Hunters - August 2010

Got to give a mention to the now discontinued Violator Isolator (Barneys) - Yummy!
