Just had a call from my supplier advising me that he just got a load back from Dam, in particular from Grey Area, and now wants 450 £ for an ounce. Greedy bastards

coffeeshops sell ww , bubblegum ,skunk , nlx ,jack h , peacemaker @ 8-10 euros a gram
amnesia , sour d , cheese x haze , silverhaze , and sometimes OGs or kushes @ 11-13 euros a gram

Haha, i'd love to see this. Even if you went into grey area or got loads of diff people to go in and get loads of 5 gram deals you'd still be paying 13e per g with the deal on the top end shit.
I can't see someone going to such lengths to bring it back to make such a small markup.
People who go to the dam and bring back get kegs from non-coffeeshop suppliers...your guy is chatting breeze.

Weed was £20 for 3.5g for the longest time resisting inflation and everything. Eveyone's happy at that price, good money to be made on the dealer's side and the customer gets a decent sized baggie. Those times have sunk without trace. When my grower is between crops, like now, i'm in the same boat as giraffe- £20 for 1.1-1.2 of some very (very) nice white russian. I'd rather buy good thai, which i can still get £20 for 1/8th.

Well, dont ask me how he get around this one mate, but i have seen all the diffrent bags and all the writings on if, sure anyone can do this, but looks authentic to me, and as far the quali is concern, it is the real deal. The only info that i have is that he get it for at leat 3-4 euros cheaper(per gram). Now also not sure what the amount is that is been bought back, but whem my best mate came around around the last time he pulled half ounce in various diffrent bags, like Kc, La Con, Silver Bubble( which waas soo nice). So yea i believe him.But the point i am trying to make is, that like we all in the thread, hate to pay silly prices.Been currently unemployed does not help.But when i smoke the so called cheese and hazes, it not really the same as smoking LA Con now is it? So from time to time i get one gram.

The cheese grown here when cured properly is as nice as a lot of the import but for the nice hazes it seems we are destined to pay 15-20 a g (or my 3g for 40 pound) forthe import but obv we ened the consistent dam quality! no more sealed packs comin thru as far as im aware tho and ppl jst won't let go of oz's of the nice sheet

most bezzle/cheese etc.. will go for around £190-200 mark
Hardly anything you buy in the Uk is imported now, the dealers call it all Dutch Import to get the best price possible, I'd guess 95% of whats available in the UK is grown here.

id disagree with you (for once) boner. down here 'dutch' is another word for anything commercial, light green and fluffy. majority of it is sprayed -whether import or not someone is still spraying most of this shit.
Therefore its got the stage where any 'in the know' youngster calling their dealer for a 20 bag would be put off,and would probably reject 'dutch'. Unless of course, it has a 'amnesia/super silver' prefix!

Thats fair enough, I stand by what I said about the percentage of weed grown here opposed to being imported though, you've got to remember the sprayed shit is grown by the vietnamese gangs and they're rife in the UK now, I live in a very quiet neighbourhood and theres been 2 viet gangs busted here in the last 12 months.
