Keep up the pics! Is this a thread for anyone to post or just yours? Hopefully I will have some stuff to show when I return from my trip in Feb :D

Thanks SkinAnother, I'm always glad to hear when I inspire another photographer.

Some years back I left a pretty good camera in a bar (due to alcohol intoxication, not weed!). Luckily, it was found by the bar staff and I got it back. Lesson learned!

I started this thread because my photos were scattered around in various old threads, and I wanted to have a 'best of' gallery of my faves. So its just for my own stuff really. I wouldn't have been too fussed anyway, its all just for fun :)

bleak wrote: but I only got good at it because I take 10 to 15 thousand photos a year. Yes, I've got issues  But seriously, this is some golden advice that took me years to work out. Technical skills are nice, but they are useless if the photo has no emotion or story behind it. Too many people think its about the camera. And so they waste ridiculous amounts of money on buying better and better gear, but taking the same old boring photos, just in a higher resolution.
Beautiful (for the most part) photos man, we should get together for a Smoke and Snap whenever I'm in town...(June,Oct,Dec)

the Grey Crystals were definitely the best, but on the pricy side (18 euros). Taking the price into consideration, my pick was the Dutch Dust (15 euros)

Thanks mate, hit me up when you're in town!!

Not sure exactly how long the Volcano bag was. I'd guess around 4 meters

LOVE my Launch Box. As far as portability/stealth goes, you can't beat it. Great quality vapor too. One funny thing about the Launch Box.... lots of times when I've gotten it out, everyone is saying "cool, did you make that???"   I guess because its made from wood, people assume its homemade.

For sure, Smoke and Snap is a great plan!! Especially in June, when its warmer, better for walking around, stopping for smoke breaks etc :) I know Gapie would be up for this too, in fact he's suggested it to me before... "you take the photos, I roll the joints"   heheh

I was hanging at t'Nes with Bleak, Gapie, and DC, and saw an opportunity to snap a pic. Bleak took a few pics of the same and similar, but from a different view point.
Just a simple pic, but the joint was anything but simple, right Bleak? Thanks to Gapie for that killer-mix joint.

Bleak- I seriously lack the proper words to express how much I love these. You have an exquisite and unusual eye for color and composition that I really dig.

You make me want to get out with my camera and work harder. And, you really manage to evoke something that ignites my longing for the city. Have you considered marketing some of these?

Sorry for getting a little gushy, but these really made my morning. :D

Wow... thanks very much geekymonkey!! Its really humbling that my photos can inspire so much.

I have considered marketing these, and I do have a few ideas. For now, I'm just going to keep on having fun, taking photos, and see what happens. I already get my income from photography, so the stoner pics are not a priority yet.

If I get enough of a collection, maybe I'll put out a photo book called 'Cannabis Culture in Amsterdam' or something. Its totally possible as I've already done a book before. Don't worry, if this thread ever evolves into a book, I'll let you all know ;)

If you decide to publish, which by the way sounds like a great idea, put me on the top of your list for an autographed copy. :)
You have a certain "Je ne sais quoi" when it comes to photography, no doubt.

Happy shooting (pics that is)...
