Your camera does a good macro shot, better than the average compact camera. Its a Canon Ixus 95 IS, is that right...?

I’m hopefully going next over the next two months and will have some more pics to put in this thread.

yep its the Ixus 95 IS. one or two pics might have been on my mates cannon g10 before he sold it.
that was a sick camera.
Regarding macros - i usually take lots of pics from a similar angle then keep the ones with the most area in sharp and in focus.
