Dave near London wrote:Very , very nice youngish lady - who was so friendly - laughed at my useless rolling skills (probably cos a bit taken in with the ability to buy and smoke in a coffee shop - I practice , when I get the chance with tobacco at home - and can do an OK-ish cigarette) - anyway , she just takes the weed and a Camel blue , knocks out about 3 spliffs -and presents them in a clear take home bag. Walked past the police on the way back - with bag in hand. !

If I go again - she is there - and no tourist restrictions - she gets a bunch of flowers at least.

And as for the gent Ludo in Paradox ...."would you like a water pipe ?" - all so matter of fact etc , with real friendlines. Ditto Amesia - big effort to get a nice , clean glass pipe from the staff. Quality.

Gotto go again - told my misses - she doesnt mind if I go for another indulgence trip !!!
Cool. They are nice in there. I couldn't roll for toffee the first time I went, just bought pre-rolled. Luckily I went back within 6 weeks and in-between had learned to roll a nice cone. Wish someone had helped me on my first time!!!

Grey Area - best weed but not great for sitting, too small and busy.

Amnesia - love the vibe and the staff in there. Mango milkshake is wicked, and they gave me a Hot Chocolate this weekend for coming in all the time. Thanks guys!

Hmm, also love De Rokerij on near Leidseplein - great music at night. And Dampkring (old Pink Floyd) - love watching the videos.

Prix d'ami, so comfortable upstairs
Bluebird for the quality of hash
Anyday ... just because I feel good in it

But there's so much I've not visited yet ...
Next trip (February), 6 more:
De Graal - Voyager - Hill street blues - Stix - Paradox - Basjoe ... and perhaps more.

For me it would be

1 - Central. 1st stop every single time on the way in and the last stop on the way out of Dam. Classic smokes and good times. :D

2 - Katsu. Quality and choice of smokes. Black Widow was the best i've smoked in years :)

3 - Bushdocter. Strawberry Haze..... MMMMMM

For the morning i'd choose de Graal,a few pipes of their superb Kashmiri and a cup of coffee...my perfect wake and bake...

Then for Lunch,it just has to be Paradox,One Veggie burger and some of their Jungle Manali gets me in a sweet frame of mind to wander over to Basjoes for the rest of the afternoonto partake of the "Special" and Himalayan...

For the evening i'd choose Rokerij (off Leidersplein) for the laid back chilled out music and vibes ...and they have some lovely Nepalese... :)

I could never answer that barring 1 choice. And that would have to be Hill Street Blues. Not cos it's the best as such, but simply to many great memories, times, views and feel of the place. Even on a bad day I love the place for the vibe alone if not the music (at the right volume). Oh and always wandering where does the passage that goes down past the shitter lead to?.

Greenplace -love the blueberry cheese, sitting outside and people watching in the day and in the evenings chilling on the seats by the window.
Rockerji ( leidsplein ) - great decor, chilled music and iced coffee to die for.
Paradox - consistent menu and relaxed atmosphere. Waste away a morning easily here.
