What are the best weeds to get you completely smashed? Also how do you rate Barneys, The Green House, Popeyes and all the other coffee shops in that area?

well i would skip them unless you want to be overcharged for average bud.. damkring is good got some cheaper but lovely strains

Cool thanks for the heads up. I've always been happy with Barneys, they've got a pretty good selection, same goes for the green house. Where's best for top weed @ good prices. I only really go for the best weed & hash that the cs has.

Dampkring 2 across from Popeye's is the only shop I visit on that end of the Haarlemmerstraat. As far as strongest weed, do you want to get high or stoned? Greenplace usually has a good selections of kush. Katsu with their Black Widow and Resin with the Resin Haze are good choices.

Dampkring is good plus you can steal popeye's wifi if you sit upstairs. Sticking your finger in their eye so to speak!

Barney's and Green House both have lively atmospheres, i agree that their weed CAN be poor and over priced, but on other occasions it can be pretty special...the g-13 from barneys last trip was by far the tastiest....

I've never been to popeyes so no comment...

But i would suggest Dampkring. As everybody else has said, they have good weed (normally) and its reasonably priced. But i normally buy me weed in dampkring on the way to Green house...As i find green house has better service and theirs a bit more room if your with a group...

Also Barney's has a vapo on every table if i remember correctly.....Nothing like putting your own vap on without waiting to grab the attention of a staff member

Nice one everyone. Will def try out your recommendations! What are the shops like that are most out the way? Only ever really seem to go to ones in the busiest areas. Do go to Leiden though and they have some good shops. Bit of a shocker about this members card business. Nearly had a heart attack when I read about it.

Where is Greenplace? Always hear they have a good menu. I like to get high and stoned but I want one that will put you on your arse & leave you speechless for a while. Black Widow & Resin Haze sound good!

Hey Chrismonsta! Most of the shops on Haarlemmerstratt are over priced and very commercial, because this is a very high foot traffic area. Picasso and Popeye have better prices and are nice shops! If you want to try Barneys Farm Gear you can go to Amnesia, same owners; most ACD people prefer it to Barneys. The Vanilla Kush is usually a heavey-hitter: as is the Sleasestack. Grey Area is a very short walk from Amnesia, they, arguably, have some of the best gear in town. The Casey Jones and the L.A Confidential have been top notch lately! Not far fom G.A is Abraxas, the the John Sinclair is not to be missed. The Super Silver Haze has been good at Hunters as of late as has the Chem Dog at De Kroon. Directly across from De Kroon is 420 which is usually has top choices. While in that area, Prix de Ami has had some very good S5 Haze. Also, Basjoe and the Green Place always have good gear.
Keep looking at the Strains forum for some ideas before your trip. Who knows, the Dampkring, or, even the Green House may have something irresistible! Have a blast Dude.
