Best storage for weed???

I have bought a qtr of white dwarf weed, 99% dry, smells really nice and tastes even nicer.
I dont want to smoke it until xmas and a friend of mine recomends that i store it in a plastic bag, put in a tub and then in the freezer, he says this will stop it from turning bad will preserve it as it is and to just get it out a few hours before i wanna start on it. Does this sound like a good suggestion? Does anyone else have any other ideas? Thanks guys.

If it is 99% dry then stick it into a tight top jar and open it a couple of times a day. Think this will cure it, which will make it a better smoke aswell man. I'm pretty sure my info is correct but someone jump about me if it isnt please

also check periodically that it's not too wet and going moldy

Yes, to both of the above. Never use plastic, it's like a Tricchome magnet. Keep your air tight glass jar in a "coolish" place. No need to freeze or fridge! As Seanlyall said, open the jar for a minute, or 2, a few times a day for a few weeks. If it gets to dry put a tiny piece of fruit in the jar over night and the weed will rehydrate. i moisten a q tip with water and put it in the jar. works very well for that.

I use a potato peel...works really well and there is absolutely no smell or taste transfer

IIRC, curing needs to be done almost immediately after harvest. Once the weed's reached a certain level of dryness, the curing process stops and can't be restarted. Glass jars still are the best storage method though.
