As I was sitting last night stoned and a bit pissed due to the excesses of having been smoking and drinking all day, I started to give some thought to the possibility of actually doing some judging of Coffee shops as part of the 420 meet up. (This thread showed its face here a few weeks ago).
I was thinking something along the lines that each person who attends the meet could suggest a Hash and one strain of weed. Then on 4/20 we could make a bit of a crawl during the day visiting and tasting each strain then meeting up at Nes or 420 for the voting and results.
Alternatively, we could get a list of say 5 - 10 shops and each of us walk in blind and buy something off the menu (bud tender’s recommendation) and judge the shop on that.
I'm sure that if anyone can be arsed, it may be some fun, anyone else got any ideas or should I just go back to sleep and wake up next year?

Whatever it is it would have to be real loose and fun, we can't possibly try to take it too serious, we are all there to have fun.

... that sounds like a good enough reason to go out, get absolutely wasted on all the good strains out there and then meet up and discuss and rate just how good or bad each sampled strain is, in "our" opinions... A stoner idea that I love... count me in... those buds are gonna get Judgin_8_ed

and then there's my favorite event, see who can hold a hit the longest. ( take a deep breath now )

....followed shortly by the sprint to the floor event, the one that us staff enjoy betting on.

We could have a marathon. Oh no wait they are called snickers. Mmmm chocolate.

no but on a more organized level...

Start a new thread with nonaminations for the cup.....
every one who can visit before 420...do so and nonamate the shop that
you think should be in our cup...even talk to the shop and find if they would like an official tasting group in....( let see what the feedback is and then make the plan for the official tating group)

I think we should limit to ___ shops...because we should go and test ourselves in a group...the JUDGES...( I think what would be anyone who wanted)

I guess it would be like a coffeeshop crawl....Just with a goal.

{rolling up my sleeves] I will try my bestest to keep vertical... but considereing just how much you guy smoke I don't think I'll be the last one standing... looks like some serious sessions will be had, or if you're like Twitch then the sessions will be from wake to sleep...all day everyday! I'm in. Amongst my mates I'm a hardcore smoker, but I've got a funny feeling you lot are going to smoke me under the table....shiiiiit. My personal best was an 8am to 1am session, but from 3pm onwards I was smoking with one of the dealers from Hunters Bar who could smoke strong, and I mean strong hash spliffs one after the other forever. When Amnesia closed at 1 he was still going strong while I was a shell. Superb day.
