Yes and don't make the same mistake I did and eat 2 within the space of 30 mins when ya think it isn't working. But my god it was good and made me sleep

When i was at University a guy ate 19 hash cookies trying to look cool in front of his new friends in halls of residence (one was on the same course as me).

Within 30mins he regretted his decision and the new friends landed up taking a trip to hospital in an ambulance with him because the effect was so intense. Whilst there they pumped his stomach. As far as i am aware he never touched hash again though he did run for student president much to peoples amusement as he had committed more serious acts of embarrassment in previous years.

I wouldn't recommend eating space cakes as the first introduction to cannabis. It is hard to regulate the dosage and takes a long time for the effects to hit and they tend to come on all at once. Some people (like me) aslo tend to get a slight allergic reaction with a sniffly nose and red eyes.

If your better half does not want to smoke, perhaps you could try vaporization? There are many coffee shops with volcanos or other vaporizers. Vaporization provides a healthy alternative to smoking while still having the benefit of the effects hitting one quickly, which makes the regulation of the dosage very easy.

Yeah as mentioned buying wed their is a nice experience id say pop in to 420 their gear is normally good quality but not crazy strong. Thwn a trip to albert cup market to visit katsu id recomend their OG#18 really nice and strong but mainly great taste to it. I recon you would get th rightt advice att both these places.

Now imo id go for a nice haze maybe super silver from 420 or maybe even th 100% sativa from hunters to start the dy both quite energetic uppy hi's maybe something a little weaker for your missus bubblegum ? that should set you up nicely for wonding round. Then some OG#18 or LA conf for evening bit heavier but nie tasting buds.

Id ask your wife to try a joint or vap to se if she likes it first b4 baked goods as they an be potent n freek her out kind of give her a idea of what to expect.

Youve paid a fair price to get their go try some of the best amsterdam has to offer try the stronger weeds youve been given good advice re sweets n the budtenders deal with whities well so dont worry go check out the cs reviews n cannabis strains section n trip reports n go buy some super weed hassle free.

i wouldn't go anywhere near anything edible.

you have no idea how many times i've seen newbies puking their brains out, outside of coffeeshops.... actually i remember one dude at babas.... outside.... never seen so much puke in my life.

just smoke it. trust me.

I thoroughly enjoy smoking a joint or vaping my weed and spend most of my day doing that in Amsterdam, wouldn't touch anything edible but only because it doesn't fit in with how i like to enjoy weed. I'd feel too out of control, not knowing how strong something was then waiting for the effect to hit.

If its what you wanna do I'd say take it really slow, but its not for me personally.

Enjoy yourself and take it easy....

One important tip.

Even though price has a rough correlation to strength it isn't always 100%. Something that is 11 Euro can be MUCH stronger than something that is 10 Euro.

Be honest with the budtender about your experience, be precise about what you want to have happen to you, and be brief.

Also, take your time between tokes. This will help prevent the high from sneaking up on you.

There are so many coffeeshops, it is very simple to turn around and walk out if you get a bad vibe. I have never caught an attitude but I suppose anything can happen. Maybe you want to try a location such as where City Hall CS is right next door to Greenhouse.

For delectable edibles, good smoke, friendly service and ample comfortable room for relaxing, try the original Abraxax, the John Sinclair is a very good smoke.

I love City Hall :-) I've never actually bought anything from there but it is right behind where I stay and drinks are waaay cheaper than in the Greenhouse next door. Great place to chill IMO

welcome to the forum

i just want to double-check that you have read the document How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks

My wife would be more interested in the baked goods. Is there any particular baked goods more recommended than others? Any particular CS that would be more accepting and helpful to some newbies?
the coffeeshop basjoe is a good place to start ... ask for james ... tell him what you have told us and he will help select something appropriate ...

the basjoe space cake is also a good thing to start with ... imho it is gentle though some would argue that it isn't ... in any case it is tasty, looks pretty with rainbows across the slice ... and it works

have a great trip ...
