a canalboat ride T&T... it sounds like a great idea ... maybe the day we go out and eat ribs on De Klos steakhouse
I looked at a few different companies that do canal cruises and the cost seems to depend on quite a few variables. A range estimate would be 10e all the way up to 50e per person. The general length of a cruise appears to be an hour but, to rent the entire boat there is a two hour minimum. The number of people also has a large bearing on the cost as boat rental is for the whole boat regardless of the number of passengers. More people, bigger boat. I found boats for from 12 to 50 passengers. The level of amenities on the boat, i.e. beer/wine service, food, will also add euro's to the total.
After a bit of research I would think that 15-20e pp would be a workable range, at this time, for a whole boat rental-2 hours-15 to 20 people.
If anyone on the forum has a connection for boat rental this would be a great time to use it.......

Well anything around the €15-30 mark cant be out of reach for even the most budget consious of us. I'd love to do the boad thing, being able to have a joint on the boat would be a bonus rather than a must.
Sound like two boat rides this year this one with ACD and one on Q-Day with the Pigs! Nothing more fun cruising the canals with a beer in one hand and a smoke in the other. How bought a night cruise truffles recommended? Any way count me in.

@Dave J-- We only need 20 or so people, should be able to manage that many. We could always get a larger boat if more express interest.
@yogibear-- Which company do you rent the boat from for your Queens Day outing? None that I have looked at seem to mention smoking. Most don't rent on Queens Day also?

I have no idea Mike O gets the boat he has a friend living there and he helps in the process of finding one. Aren't there some locals here at ACD that could help? There are a lot of boat rental companies what date is the dinner at De Kelos Meat and meet after dinner cruise is it the 20th? You can count me in on the boat ride T&T! After 3 consecutive trips to the Dam I still have never taken a Canal boat ride and boy does the sound of it get me excited! I'll have the blunts twisted hehehe!
Sounds great Sweeties .Just remember that 420 day is already filled up for other things. As in early t&ts(still to be chosen) 420 at the 420 cafe and the Nes for the monster Vapo party. also we might want to do this after 420 because there will most probally be back to back T&Ts,crawls and partys set up 2/3 days befor the actual 420....mabe the 21 or the 22 ??? Oh and if the weather is nice i'm thinking of haveing a free range T&T---at Vondal park---a pick-nic, snacks and smokes??? anyone wanna come???
