Are you planning to go from the park to Katsu? Thats quite a hike but down near the end of the park there's a CS Tootsi that look nice.

How far is it from von park to the Alb. cyup mkt.

I think Tootsie is closed. Tweedy and Blue Lagoon are by the park. De Graal is probably the first you come to if walking from park to Pijp.

After looking at maps and such i've come to the conclusion that IT"S TO DAMN FAR to travel from von park to Alb. cyup mrkt. so how about this. lets split them up. On the 22 the von park and a visit to the De grall , Dolfins ect. .And then we can have a Alb cyup mrkt. coffeeshop crawl on another day?? this way we don't kill ourselfs.

Huh? It's less than a mile from Katsu to Vondelpark.

Another option is Sarphati Park, less than 100m from Katsu.

As a note, from Dam Square to most parts of the A10 Ring road are less than three miles. To most of the know (read popular) C/S's from Dam Square is less than two miles. Not far at all, even for the sick, lame, and lazy such as myself.

saphatipark is a great option there are at least five top coffeshops (de graal, club media, katsu, papillon and yoyo) and many at least average coffeeshops. or the original greehouse at tolstraat (I was disappoited) and the park right in the middle. I stayed at hotel aalborg last november right next to saphatipark and de pijp is amsterdams best area imo.

vondelpark is really not far on ther other hand. but we would have to go to the far end of vondelpark to be able to smoke as the other areas are crowded and there will be lots of kids. not in the far end there it's relaxed.
