First trip - 27th March to 1st April

Hello :)

I am going to Amsterdam with my girlfriend for the first time in March and I'm seriously excited. :D I'm staying in the Amstel Botel for a few nights and of course I'll be visiting the coffeeshops. I've seen a lot of the reviews on the site, but does anyone know of the best shop that's near the Botel? And will I be able to bring back hash or brownies? :)

I believe the Botel is now moored in Amsterdam Noord, across the river from the Centrum. There are only a couple of shops in the Noord and they are not close to the boat. Het Filiaal is within 15 - 20 minutes walk. You should have no problems bringing hash/spacecakes back to your room.
